Listen (sigh), I'm not going to knock the merits of this accessories' existence, in fact, I love the idea of having a pouch for a 70-200mm on my belt: thus the 2 stars.1 Star off for the price, I mean, come on, for $75 you can get a whole backpack, or better yet, pay someone $50 to hold your lens and follow you around during a shoot and do lots of other things. That's a travesty in itself, the price.1 Star off for the plain fact you can't access the lens inside very easily. And this should be apparent as it was to be before buying, but the degree to which this thing actually slows you down is just not acceptable either. Seriously, I had the chance to use it today at a Bridal Shower, and I ended up having to disconnect my wide angle lens, put it on a table, unzip this, take it out slowly (which is good and bad because its tight in there for safety but tight in there which slows the process down), put the 70-200 lens on the table, put the wide in the pouch, connect the 70-200 to my body, and continue to shoot. Compare that with just walking over to my camera case which was 10 feet away, take off the wide, and instantly put the 70-200 on, you guessed it: I stopped using this pouch and will probably never use it again.It makes you look cool, like you're a gunslinger of some sort, like I'm about to get in a gunfight with Liberty Vance. But looks don't get the job done, proper management of time does, this really slowed me down today.I'm taking another star off because of price AGAIN because, let this sit in, its $75!!! Every little thing for this Spyder system has a 4,000,000% markup and that's really not cool, I like the holster, don't get me wrong, but a competitor needs to come around and quickly to put Spyder in check with their overpricing.

I just got my new lens pouch in the mail and I love it. I bought this to carry my Canon 70-200mm lens and I am very pleased with all of the different features that this pouch comes with. I love the water resistant cap on the and the zippered feature. This is a VERY tight fit for my lens and won't hold my lens hood so the zippered feature is a must. It makes accessing the lens so much easier. Being able to carry my lens on the holster belt instead of carrying an extra bag around makes it so much easier when I need to bring multiple lenses but don't want the hassle of carrying and extra bag.This is a must have accessory if you use the spider holster.

This isn’t the easy run & gun accessory it’s advertising itself to be. It’s too tight. Difficult to use with two hands, let alone one. It doesn’t fit my Sony 70-200 GM with the hood on, so it’s basically useless as I have to take the hood off & on every time.The rear lens cap holder naturally falls inside the bag, so when swapping lenses, it usually blocks the lens from falling all the way in. I then have to pull out the lens again, dig out the cap, and put the lens back in. It’s not worth the effort.I literally spent my last event holding my lenses between my thighs, or putting them on the ground because this pouch was so infuriating.Oh and all this for a VERY premium price. I’d rather tie a grocery bag to my belt than use this again.

I used my own elastic belt that I made. It worked well. I am happy with the purchase. It would be great if a simple belt could be purchased for this without having to purchase the whole system (ie the system that holds a camera).

I like the concept of the bag, I just wish they made one that was a little smaller. I purchased this for my Tamron 24-70 2.8 lens, thinking that the medium would work with it. Unfortunately, even the flare hood attached, it's still a bit too large. Otherwise it's a great product and a great idea for a lens case. Just be aware that their definition of medium, in my opinion, is not really the case.

I use this pouch and its bigger sister when I need to carry an extra lens while walking around. It is flexible enough that I can find a comfortable position on my holster belt and am able to carry the extra lens for hours at a time with no problem. It has made it so that I no longer need to decide what lens to use when heading out for a day.

Used it on a recent photojournalism trip to the Amazon. held my 70-200mm zoom lens securely and kept it out of the rain while my other lens was on my camera. It was easy to get the lens in and out of the pouch.

This case is exactly what I needed. Fits my Nikon 70-300 with no problems at all. Even when I have the lens hood on it still fits perfect. Would recommend this if you are looking for a case for a large lens. Was worried it wouldn't fit as all other reviews only said it fit 70-200mm.

Strong pouch, the Velcro holds it very well. I feel quite safe with it on my Spider Holster and there is no way this will come off. The lens is well protected and the pouch even has a little rain hood. Highly recommend this product.

Expensive but does carry 70-200 comfortably and provides easy access

Very useful - though the canon 24-70 2.8 bit of a tight squeeze when trying to put lens in one-handed.

Good product.However, 70-200mm lens fits a little too snug & weather proof cover is a little flimsy…can be improved…overall I’m satisfied.

プライム利用で昨夜注文のこれをもう手にすることができ、室内でテスト使用してみました。やはり使い勝手を良く考えてありそうですね。スパイダープロと同様にやや値段が張りますけど、生産ロット数を推定すると仕方がないかな。スパイダープロの２台用と、このポーチと付属のモンキーを組み合わせて使用すると、本体２台にレンズ３～４本と他のアクセサリ１つを常時携帯可能で、カメラバッグ要らずですね。車で移動の撮影業務なら、カメラバッグは車に残し、装備だけ身につけて出られます。実はスパイダープロの２台セットも、つい先日に購入してレビューしたばかりなのですが、セール価格で提供いただいたベンダーさんうれしいですが、欠品の情報が増えたのは・・・と言う事で、ネットで見ていてやはり欲しくなったこのポーチも急遽購入することにしました。スパイダープロの２台用だと、右側のホルスターの前側につけることになりそう。70-200を入れて歩いてみて、腿に当たりはしますが歩きづらいまではいかなくて、良いですね。レンズ３～４本で70-200と24-70の入れ替え使用が必要な場合にかなり重宝しそうです。レンズのマウントキャップのベルクロパッド使用のホルダーもいいですね。欲を言えば、自分で両面テープを貼れば使える予備のベルクロパッドがあるともっとうれしいです。まあそれは、別途調達して切った貼ったすればいい事ですけどね。スパイダーモンキーは、まだ実装と実稼動条件でテストしてみてはいませんが・・・レンズ以外の小型アクセサリの持ち歩きが必要な場合に重宝しそうです。このスパイダーモンキーは複数あるとそこそこ便利そうですが、本家のＨＰでも見当たりませんね。自分はとりあえず１つあれば大丈夫そうですが、念のため予備も欲しいのは職業病かも。
