This is a great bell for any OUTDOOR sport.It is loud. LOUD loud.The tongue is actually made up of two pieces, one long straight post connected to a shorter post ending in a steel ball, which can swing freely.This allows for more movement of the ball end and more NOISE!!I was looking for a loud bell...... I actually returned this bell because it was TOO LOUD for a hockey game, indoors.100000% recommended for a football or outdoor sporting event!!

This is great! I bought this to cheer in runners at a trail race I was crewing. It’s very sturdy, and I just tossed it into my gear pack. It’s also pretty loud, when my runners came into aid stations and the finish line, they knew they were being celebrated, and where to go.

I gave this as a gift to my friend. We go to meat raffles and cowbells are popular. This bell has a comfortable grip handle thats long enough to accommodate your entire hand. The bell itself is a heavy metal and the handle is welded on. It's great because you hold it above your head and not next to some else's near. The sound is loud and strong without being annoying to the person next to you! (People in crowds with items like air horns and whistles aren't appreciated, the sounds are deafening and terribly annoying.) It's a true cowbell sound. My friend loves it!

I bought this to cheer at my daughter’s lacrosse championships. While MOST of the spectators were watching the game, many were looking at me (probably in annoyance) because this thing is LOUD! Strong sturdy construction. Highly recommend!
