I took this to the jungle for 6 weeks, it stayed waterproof for about 4, so not bad. The Amazon is a big place and only some of the animals were where i was, so more region specific guides would be more helpful. Good illustrations and a contains a lot of species so was helpful all the same.

This small document was incredibly handy for our recent trip on the Rio Negro. We were lucky enough to see a huge percentage of the wildlife included. Often you would only hear a bird or monkey and to be able to see what they looked like was invaluable.Compact, waterproof and containing all of the most common birds, fish, mammals, butterflies and more we found this to be worth its weight.Highly recommended.

Great pictures. The will form a reference for the wildlife seen and further details can be looked up later.

Brilliant little reference guide to anyone visiting the Amazon

I thought this was a book from the picture. But it's a brochure on thick plastic. So a bit pricey for what it is.
