Positives: Overall great gloves. I used the gloves this morning for yoga, and was very pleased with their performance - very sticky on the mat, no finger binding anywhere (I often have this issue where gloves that fit my fingers are too short in the finger crotch and they hurt after awhile, but NOT these). The velcro around the wrists give them a very professional feel, and some support also.Negative: I am one of those annoying people who is super sensitive to any and all chemical smells. These smell very strongly of plastic/petroleum product. I washed them after my workout in the sink in some peppermint castile soap, but the smell is still there. I imagine it will just take some time.

the instructions say to give the fit a chance so i wore them a few times but the issue wasn't with them not being stretched out enough... the finger holes stop right at the knuckles so if you do any kind of bicep curl (i use these for Lagree) it really hurts your fingers. the gloves cut into your circulation. then, the palm part is not grippy, it's more like, rubbery and slippery. my hands would slooowwwwlllyy slide. i felt more unstable than if i had no gloves on. maybe they would be okay for only when your hands are flat on the floor for standard yoga because they do provide a decent amount of palm cushion. just not good for anything requiring gripping. i returned them.

I rarely write reviews but I am so impressed with my new YogaPaws I just had to let others know. These were recommended to me by a women in my yoga class because she'd overheard me talking with the instructor about my slippery hands. I was hesitant to purchase them because I like the feel of my hands making contact with the mat but unfortunately even with an excellent quality mat I was still unable to hold a good pose because I was constantly having to re-position my hands after they slip slide right out of alignment! These YogaPaws have solved my problem, my full fingers still make contact with the mat and I can now concentrate on the poses instead of my slippery hands. They are comfortable to the point that I completely forget I'm even wearing them and the grip is amazing but not at all sticky or tacky. They have taken my yoga practice to a new level, I'll never leave home again without them!

***update 8/3/19***I contacted the company regarding my poorly sewn pair & they replied to my email promptly & sent me a new pair. The new pair is perfect. I suggest contacting the company directly if you encounter a similar issue. Love these gloves.*****I made my second purchase of YogaPaws SkinThin Non-Padded Yoga Gloves, and I believe that I received a defective, poorly sewn pair. The first pair that I bought were perfect (size 2 in rich plum); however, the second back-up pair that I recently purchased (size 2 in midnight blue) has a very thick and hard seam point that sits right on the webbing of my right thumb. I've used this pair for 3 yoga classes hoping that the gloves might loosen up and be useable, but they remain very uncomfortable. I've written to the YogaPaw company to inquire if I might exchange this poorly sewn pair for another in exactly the same size, color, and model, and I await their reply. Otherwise, this pair is too uncomfortable for use. I use my first pair constantly for yoga about 3-4 times a week, and I never slip off my mat. I've recommended the product to friends. Sadly, this second pair is not useable.

I've struggled with sweaty palms while I did my yoga practice. No expensive mat was going to fix this. I tried everything and then happened upon these amazing beauties! True to size, comfortable, and doesn't dig into your fingers, wrists, or webbing of fingers. (I was so glad for that as other gloves dug into my webbing, but not these!) They hold my hands in a place like glue! My practice has improved so much and I feel much more stable in my inverted poses as well as my down dog. Thanks yoga paws! I'll be buying more in the future! (p.s. I chose thin skin because I didn't want any thickness between me and my hands :) )

Ever since I started practicing yoga I was always struggling with keeping my sweaty palms on the mat.I bought three mats over the months, hoping each would provide better grip but no luck.My hands would slide forward during downward dog and I’d end up focusing more on my grip than the actual pose.Enter YogaPaws. I tried cheap yoga gloves before but they were so crappy and I would still slip.I had little hope but I took a gamble and ordered these instead of yet another expensive mat.Oh. My. God.The grip is amazing! My hands stay put no matter the surface. I tested them on yoga mats, smooth hardwood floors, kitchen tiles and vinyl floors. Zero slip and perfect downward dog on EVERY SURFACE!The gloves are very comfortable and don’t dig in between your fingers like a lot of other brands.I would recommend buying the size that is the closest match to the exact width of your palm. Don’t size up. They will 100% stretch and mold to your hands within minutes.I only got the gloves but I’m tempted to buy the foot version of YogaPaws. They’re so good! I’m super excited for my next practice.

Received these in very good time considering the distance they travelled. Have used them only twice, but I am already a complete convert. The grip is just superb and has transformed my yoga practice in so short a time - I just feel so much more stable and find I can trust my grip in ways I hadn't thought I needed before - downward dog has been transformed into a far easier posture and I feel I can now focus on other little corrections without being so aware of my hands slipping (or even that they might slip). I highly recommend these gloves and the speed of delivery to the UK was very impressive.

Fantastic gloves, a really good fit and exactly what I was looking to stop my hands slipping when practising yoga. There is a bit of a rubbery smell to them which is why I couldn't give 5 stars but otherwise a great product and well worth the money.

They do the job, however took a star off for poor workmanship. They are not done well, sticking is clumsy and they smell awful even after a few washes. In my opinion gloves are overpriced for what they are, that was the reason why I gave it 3 stars.

These get used most days great for yoga poses with hands on floor

With so many great reviews I was hopeful the gloves would be suitable for me. My clammy hands have always been an issue as I can never have a good grip - these gloves have changed that! My hands no longer slip during a simple downward dog position. Would definitely recommend for your yoga practice.
