Terrific Road Bike Saddle
After about 8,000 happy miles on my Serfas Performance RX saddle (it still looks and performs as new!), I wanted something lighter, and something that looked a little more serious. So I tried a bunch of saddles from Prologo, Fizik, and Bontrager over the last four weeks. Ends up all but one were quite painful compared to the RX. The best was a Fizik which was fine for short rides, but not rides longer than 30 miles, so it went back to the LBS. Searching Serfas' lineup, I found this new RX-RR saddle, so jumped at the chance to try it. Mounted on my bike, it is about half the height of the RX, a bit less cushy, but absolutely invisible when riding. No painful spots, no issues at all. This is now my go to saddle. My experience is only a few hundred miles so far, but as I told others in my cycling group, this saddle disappears and calls no attention to itself. It works fantastically. It is better than the RX which preceded it on my road bike.Weight comparison of my saddles: Performance RX ~403g; Performance RX-RR ~306gThe RX-RR looks quite nice. It's not a standout pillowy saddle as my RX had been. At the group ride rest stop today, comparing saddles among cyclists, the RX-RR got some nice compliments. Please note, saddles are very personal; but the Performance RX is very comfortable and probably works for most people. The RX-RR likely works for a smaller selection of the population, but for those it does work for (like me), it is exceptional.About me:~155lbs, 5',10", male, ride leader for advanced-intermediate rides at a large cycling club.1000 MILE UPDATE: Everything is still peachy keen with this saddle. I never think about it and it holds up on long rides just fine (>75 miles).2250 MILE UPDATE: No change, still very comfortable...6000 MILE UPDATE: Still 5 stars--regardless of distance. Recently did a ride of 111 miles, and the saddle was excellent.19000 MILE UPDATE: Still as good as before!20300 MILE UPDATE: Well, something changed after three years and three months of use as now this saddle has become uncomfortable on longer rides. I recently bought another road bike and installed this model on that bike and it's a wonderful saddle on that bike which has a more aggressive geometry. I'm okay with a 20k/3+yr lifespan for this item, so am buying my third now to replace my first. Funny, it still *looks* quite new.

Nice
I don't ride alot so my butt is not condition for long rides. I bought a new mountain bike. I spent a lot of money for the bike so the seat was nice. I ask my friend if his butt hurts riding because he wanted me to start riding again. He laughed and said we're old that stock seat won't work. So he said to get this one. It works great.

doesn't work for everyone
For *me* this saddle is a disaster. I've been riding and racing for 30+ years and finally hit on Serfas saddles about 15 years ago. I had many of the original Terrazo models (now totally different) and currently have three or four of their Ghost saddles which I love. I just built up a new gravel bike and thought I'd go full cush with the controls and went for this RX model.Nope. If you like to move around on your saddle (fore and aft) you'll find that there's only one position that's moderately comfortable and nothing outside of that locked-in range. If you like flat saddles, this isn't for you. I'll be returning this and getting another Ghost which continues to fit me better than anything else.

Supportive and comfy and a reasonable price
I replaced a Terry Butterfly that served me well but eventually either gave up, or I outgrew it, (Yea, literally.) My son suggested the Serfas from his experience with one on his gravel bike and road bike. I did some research online, read the recommendations for the 'Best' seats that went for around 200 to 700, (Dollars. US Dollars. Seriously.) Admittedly I'm just getting the summer riding season started, but am riding 30-40 miles 3 times per week, and this seat is treating me extremely well. So well in fact I'm gonna give my backside a present and buy a second for my mountain bike. Highly recommended unless you have a local bike shop with a box full of used seats you can borrow and ride to find the perfect one. Or just buy this one and save some cash for other cool stuff.

Solved all my discomfort
This seat comes in nice and wide which was a must for me, don't know why it's so hard to find something 155mm and above. The best part about this seat is how flat it is. Manufacturers will say its a 155mm seat, but the amount of that seat that you can actually ride on is much less than that due to curvatures and such. This saddle is nice and flat and allows you to utilize the full length. I find it to be a balance between a hard seat and a soft one, right in the middle. It is designed to flex, so the shell (the part of the saddle that the cushion is supported on) isn't as stiff as some may like, but that allows for a good transfer of energy from bumps and such on the road. Overall I needed a wide seat that fitted my long distance road bike needs and this one is it. It took but 2 rides to get used to it, find the right tilt, and I'm a happy rider. Would 100% recommend.

Muy comodo para XC
Lo uso para hacer XC y es suficiente para rutas largas, teniendo en cuenta que no es lo mismo hacer turismo en bicicleta. Uso este modelo desde hace unos 15 años atrás.

Best seat I've used
This seat went onto my Trek 7500 hybrid bike. It's fairly lightweight and very adjustable which is the key to find a comfortable spot. It's worth the slightly premium cost since it uses superior materials. I've been able to ride longer without making constant adjustments so it's a keeper. Good job Serfas.

Rx comfort and performance for your roadie
I've been using this saddle for over a year now. It's thoughtfully designed and durable. Best of all, this saddle is so comfortable, I no longer have a need for padded cycling shorts / tights. No chafing, no rubbing, no numbness or pain of any kind. Discomfort is no longer a factor to consider in my riding time. I'm so impressed, I installed this saddle on both my endurance road bike and my adventure / light touring bike. It seems perfect for my bikes with drop bars. By the way, the Serfas Performance Rx seems perfect for my fitness / errand bike with flat bar. I'm sold on Serfas Rx saddles. The Rx Race Ready offers awesome comfort at half the price of my Selle Italia Gel Flow, which is both pretty and pretty uncomfortable in my opinion.
