So far the Best Electric Shave I've ever owned!
I bought the electric shaver to replace my 8200 XL which I've had for over ten years. The S9733 was packaged as the 9800 pro. On the bottom of the box shows the true name. The device itself is very powerful and fast. I normally don't shave until almost four to five days when I'm not working. Unlike the 8200 XL which had a very hard time shaving at three days, the S9733 shaves immediately without pulling or burning my skin. It can shave wet or dry. Unlike the 8200 XL, the S9733 head can be removed to use the trimmer. The whole device is waterproof and can be used in the shower which I don't do. The device is lightweight unlike the 8200 XL. So it won't strain your hand when you hold it.There're three settings on the shaver: Slow (for sensitive skin), Normal and Fast. The faster you go, the more battery it uses. The battery is rated at 60 minutes. It'll drop slow or fast based on the settings you put it on. If the battery is at 100% and I use the fast setting, it'll drop to 90% within five minutes. So if you want to conserve power, put it on normal. It takes one hour to fully recharge which is great but unlike my older shaver, this won't work unless you unplug it.The S9733 does have lock button. When you take it on the road or in a plane, it'll prevent it from accidentally turning on in your bag or suitcase when stuff gets bounced around inside. The shaver will tell you when to clean or replace the shaving heads. Honestly I rarely replace the heads. The shaving heads themselves are expensive. I only replace the heads when I feel it's not cutting properly or I start seeing cut marks or little blood on my face. The shaving heads should last you a long time if you take care of it properly. It's easy to open up and clean. Just use warm or hot water. My S9733 did come with an extra shaving head but only in select stores like Costco. I'll use it when the time comes. The one downside to the shaver is there's no power off button. It's always on sleep mode and does use little battery life when not in use. Just like a smartphone when you're not using it. But it uses very little battery in sleep mode.I currently own three shaving devices from Philips Norelco: The 8200 XL which I got back in 2009 or 2010, a beard & hair trimmer and now the S9733. I'll still keep the 8200 XL as a backup, the beard & hair trimmer which I currently cut my hair with and the S9733 as the main shaver. I'll continue to stand by and buy Philips Norelco products.

Making a weird noise. Can't get one head to stay in after cleaning.
S9733 is a piece of crap. Had if for just over a year and it has started making a strange noise. Very hard to clean. This "floating head" series will NOT hold up. Paid too much for this piece of crap. Had the old style and it lasted a very long time. It was still working when I bought this one thinking I would get an upgrade and a better shave. NOT. Gonna call their 800 number to see what their position will be. Have read other similar posts on the web. Not more floating head shavers for me. Bought a Braun a while back and love it. Norelco/Phillips or whatever they call themselves today are pedaling junk.
