The Cluster Fly Buster is a natural way to eliminate unpleasant cluster flies indoors. Simply attach one of these inconspicuous traps to each window where flies congregate with the sticky strips included; flies enter and “drown" in finely ground eggshells. No buzzing, no odors, easy disposal. Each trap holds 1000 flies and remains effective for two to four years.

Impressive results!
I'm always skeptical of gimmicky products, and have tried a number of "solutions" for getting rid of cluster flies in my home. Solutions I've tried range from hanging shiny CD discs, to ultrasonic pest repellers, to hanging a ziplock bag filled with water and a penny (haha)! None of it worked. I have skylights and high windows in a vaulted house, and the flies cluster around the windows on the south and west sides of my house. I'm talking 10-30 flies in each window daily, twice a day, and I have been using a vacuum with a long hose to vacuum them up twice a day to keep them under control. I decided to try these units, fully skeptical and fully intending to send them back if they didn't work.I bought four of them and hung them late afternoon yesterday in three infested windows and a skylight. Each of those already had a couple dozen flies (per normal) as I hung them. Less than 24 hours later I checked them and all I can say is "WOW!" There should have been dozens of flies flying around each window. Window 1 = no flies. Window 2 = no flies. Window 3 = 2 flies. Skylight (always the worst problem) = 4 flies.I plan to keep an eye on this and will update this review if the trend reverses. But I am impressed. I can live with 4 flies buzzing around a window, and if that keeps up I'll never have to haul out the vacuum again!

Flies Showed Up -- Then Didn't!
For years I’ve been dealing with terrible cluster fly infestations in late summer and early spring in the Northeast. In late summer this year, right on schedule, the slow-moving little nasties started showing up. Dozens of flies on the kitchen windows over the first two days, dispatched with a rolled-up newspaper.Past experience has shown that in the days and weeks to follow, I’d have hundreds and hundreds of the things on my kitchen and bathroom windows, overhead lights, etc.I broke out the Cluster Buster I’d ordered months earlier. Fastened up easily enough. Lo and behold, I saw a mere handful of cluster flies after that. Like one or two, maybe three -- swat and done, that was it!I’m at a loss to explain it. It’s not like I had a large infestation and all the flies ended up dead at the bottom of the trap. In fact, there’s not a single fly corpse inside the trap. They basically just didn’t show up after I hung a Cluster Buster on the kitchen window.Fact is, I can’t be 100% sure the Cluster Buster stopped the semi-annual scourge of flies – hence 4, not 5, stars. Maybe some other weather or environmental factor was in play. But all evidence suggests that the Cluster Buster did its job, in some mysterious way I don’t understand.

I finally took the original trap down after 5 months because it didn't seem like flies were getting caught in the trap anymore
This product works exactly as advertised and helped me control my serious cluster fly problem with one trap. I plan to buy a couple this time around to put in different rooms. I think the key to this trap working is making sure the flies you are trying to trap are indeed cluster flies. I've seen a few reviews mention that the trap didn't work on ordinary house flies, but I can assure you that it works on cluster flies, and I have also caught quite a few green lacewings in the trap. I finally took the original trap down after 5 months because it didn't seem like flies were getting caught in the trap anymore, and the things was completely full of dead cluster flies. Take a look at the photo. Highly recommended for cluster flies because it looks a lot less trashy than the typical fly paper, you don't see the dead flies, it lasts for quite a long time before needing to be replaced, and it consumes no power like some of the UV traps. Well worth the money.

All the Flies Disappeared
I was having an issue with flies, specifically in my windows facing the sun. There was no spoiled food and the house was spotless. (I spent days cleaning after I first spotted them, and it was very strange that they were not near the garbage or pantry.) I purchased this contraption out of frustration (and with the Amazon return promise), and I hung it in the window. The flies did not appear in the container attached to the window, but they did disappear completely! Was it this? I can't say for 100%, but I'm not counting it out.

Works and no sticky residue after removal
Absolutely love this trap! We hung it on the window where they were clustering and it helped so much!! When I took it off the window there was no sticker residue left behind. I will note my hesitation in buying this was because of some of the poor reviews. I highly encourage research to determine if it truly is the cluster fly you are dealing with. I do not know if it works for all types of flies but it certainly works for cluster flies! I will be ordering a new one for the spring. Farm living allows too many flies in the home sometimes and I’ll contie to buy this year after year.

Almost miraculous
We had a horrible cluster fly problem, it felt like I was vacuuming up 50 flies a day and they just kept coming back. With this trap we at most see one fly buzzing around and they don't seem to hang around for long. Most of the time there are no flies. It's incredible. I haven't vacuumed in weeks, there's just no need anymore. For what they are these traps seem a little overpriced but they work so well I don't really care.

Looking for house fly traps to actually trap the flies.
I ordered one unit to catch the flies that come in at the change of seasons. I should have read more of the reviews. Put the unit on the window with the double sided tape. The whole unit fell off the window in a week and the powder inside when everywhere. Don't buy this.... it doesn't work.

These work surprisingly well!
I ordered these to control a cluster fly problem I have in the old house I just purchased. Cluster flies were coming out of the windowsill in both bathrooms and I decided to try these since they were the most non-toxic option. I really didn’t expect them to work as well as they do so I am more than satisfied and would highly recommend them. The only issue I had is that my windows have muntins and the fly traps barely fit between them. If you have the same style of window pain, you may want to measure between the muntins before ordering to make sure it will fit.

Dont waste your money
Do not buy! It fell from the window after not even a week. What a mess!! The fine powder has floated all over the room after taking forever to land. Horrible. Not one fly in it! Came to double check powder isnt hazardous. Says it's not. Hope so. As ive inhaled it sitting here when it fell and cleaning it up

AMAZING
I had my doubts about this product but I was desperate to solve our country home's fly problem. I LOVE this product! I couldn't believe that the flies just land right in it. And I suppose that a sick part of me loves waving my hands around the window to trick the flies into landing in the trap. Hands down would buy one for each window in my house next fly season!

Love it.
This product kills them and buried them in one.I wish that I could buy just the powder so I don’t have to throw the plastic in the trash.

Great in our log bacin
Log cabins are prone to continuous fly infestations. We used to find over 100 flies in our light fixtures but now just a couple a year. This works great and so far lasts 1 year.I will be buying replacements in a few weeks.

Not efficient
Ordered two , installed as instructed tape failed on first one and second one is still sticking , not an effective trap at all , we have cluster flies and these traps should be full . . . Use a vacuum and hire an exterminator
