They are plastic, but they could last years. Ive had these in the past when bought at the BBB store. Bought a new fresh set when moving to a new borough and home. They brush grout and tiles very nicely and they leave my sink and bathrub looking brand new. They are easy to clean and maintain. These are my to-go brushes. Wonder if they have a set for dishwashing?

These are well-designed and ergonomic brushes that'll tackle tough stains and grime. Stiff, durable bristles and comfortable handles make light work of bath and tile cleaning.

OXO makes great items for arthritic hands. But the bristles are too soft to last very long and definitely not suitable for a deep cleaning.
