how long will it last on 1 plant?

A LOOOOOOOONG time! Approx a 1/2 to cap full in 2 gallons of water! AND you don't use all three at once1 Use their feeding schedule!

Can i use this to start seedlings?

Yes. One of these is great for hydroponic, one is great for transplanting and seedlings, and one is a flower boost. I have had great success so far starting from seeds in a mason jar hydroponic set up, my tomatoes are now 6" tall from seed. i will be using these when it's time to transplant starter plants outside, and continue using them for high yeald and optimum growth this season
