I wanted to not use the paper filters since they absorb much of the oils that make press coffee so rich and flavorful. These metal filters are perfect. You get a variety of them and they all work very well. I use them in my regular aero press and my aero press go. Because of their design, it is necessary to use the inverted method of brewing with the aero press otherwise all of your water and coffee will drain out of them. They don’t have the clogging power that the paper filters have.

The rimmed woven mesh filter barely fits under the retention cap. It works, but I worry that after extended use, the tabs that hold on the cap will fatigue, chip, or break off.The flavor from both is very nice. Either brings the Aeropress taste very close to the French press taste that we prefer. The perforated sheet filter should last forever, so we might give the second one away to a friend. Love it!

Have not tried yet. I was expecting different mesh/filter sizes, but I would still love to try them. One was mesh similar to Fellow/Aeropress official type, and the other had fewer openings and smaller holes like Able. Slim and flexible, so be a bit careful; however, it seemed to be a common denominator among fine/extra fine filters.

This is a decent deal for 4 filters that seem to be of good quality. Ive used it daily for about 2 weeks and the wire mesh one seems like it should hold up but likely not as long as the perforated ones. Considering you get two of each i think it's worth the price. Definitely more environmentally and fiscally friendly. Will give an update in a few months but if you're looking to replace the old filters definitely try this.

The mesh filters let the water flow through too quickly, resulting in a weaker cup of coffee compared to the paper filters. I use my Aero Press for traveling and not needing to tote a bunch of paper filters is a plus...except for the results of what is in my cup. I may try to double up on the mesh filters for my next attempt.

I like that I am not using paper filters and can easily clean the filter. Having four of the filters allow some to be in the wash process and still be able to make coffee.

Great deal for four pieces but just be careful not to be lazy like me and try putting boiling milk to coffee press screen does get clogged with the fat lol but it did hold up with the strong pressure I can see them lasting a long time

They work wonderful. Great quality. They do the job. Great price and you get four. Seem like they will last a long time.
