TempPro TempSync 650ft Bluetooth Meat Thermometer for Cooking with 4 Probes

I recently purchased the ThermoPro TP25 500ft Wireless Bluetooth Meat Thermometer to elevate my grilling game, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations in many ways. The thermometer's wireless and Bluetooth capabilities have revolutionized my cooking experience, allowing me to monitor the temperature of my meat from a distance of up to 500 feet. This feature has granted me the freedom to mingle with guests or take care of other tasks while still keeping a close eye on the cooking progress. What truly caught me off guard, in the best way possible, were the alarm alerts on this thermometer. The alarms are exceptionally loud and impossible to miss, ensuring that I never overlook a critical temperature change. Even if I'm busy entertaining guests or momentarily distracted, the piercing sound immediately grabs my attention, preventing any overcooking or undercooking mishaps. Aside from the impressive alarms, the thermometer itself is incredibly accurate and reliable, providing precise temperature readings for perfectly cooked meats every time. The large, easy-to-read display further enhances the user experience, allowing for quick and convenient temperature checks. While I initially bought it to improve the quality of my grilling, I was pleasantly surprised by how loud and effective the alarm alerts are, ensuring no overcooking or undercooking incidents go unnoticed. With its wireless capabilities and accuracy, this thermometer has become an essential tool for achieving grilled perfection.

Let me start off by saying, before this one, I had purchased & returned 4 thermometers.... and I did research for months before deciding this one met my needs best. I grill with charcoal so ambient temp was very important to me. I decided a wired probe/ wireless thermometer was the BEST way to go, so that I can use the included grill clip to have a dedicated ambient temp probe. ...and i was NOT disappointed! *I didn't choose a truly wireless probe/wireless thermometer because even though the ambient temp is built into the back end of the probe... this only is good after the probe is in the grill... like i said, with charcoal you need to know the temp long before you put the meat in the grill Pros: The unit itself beeps and flashes when alarm is reached. You can edit the setting for meats or create custom ones. It is REALLY easy to use. the probs do not need calibrating, but came spot on temp when tested (with that said, you can not calibrate them tho) Temp readings are as quick as a "quick read" thermometer probes are long, and wires are long The light button also silences the alarm, (but doesn't silence it on your phone) the clip allows you to hang or stand up the device the Bluetooth (wireless to your phone) is great. I haven't had a problem with it (i have stucco siding). Cons: No notification settings. You can change the alarm chimes. but the notifications pop up and beep every time you change a setting. Not a problem really, but its annoying when your playing around with it On the Android app, create your own high/low doesn't work on my phone. (the regular temp setting works, but not high low. The clip on the back pops off. Could be better. I put a tiny bit of glue in the 2 holes for it to not disengage the 1, 2, 3, 4 IMO should be. left side 1, 2; Right side 3, 4. so that the "first 2" probes that you are most likely using are on the same side of the device. I also wish the numbers were centered in the window. obviously not a reason to not buy this!

I bought this to remotely monitor various meats as I smoke them. Overall it works well, but the app and connectivity leave a bit to be desired. Pros: - Probes are long enough to easily reach the middle of any meat, aside from a whole pig. - Temperature seem accurate to within a few degrees compared to 2 instant read thermometers. - Alarms are easy to set. - Numbers on the device are easy to read. - It includes 4 small plastic pieces to wind the probe cords to keep them neat. - For the price, it's hard to beat the accuracy and 4 probes. Cons: - The app and connectivity will wear down your phone battery in no time. - If connectivity is lost, even for a second, all history for that cook is also lost. - I know it's bluetooth, but the range with my Samsung S9 was limited to about 20 feet line-of-sight. - I've not been able to find a case in which to store the device and probes, so I'm using the original box (not as cool). General - The device is fairly light, so can easily be moved by the plugged-in probe cables. - Would be nice to have a magnet on the back to attach to smoker / grill.

Works as it should, tons of features, ability to measure four things at once. Nice alarm and visuals as well as a time projection when food might be done. Seems to be very accurate. Setup was simple, my phone immediately picked up the handheld device via bluetooth. Well packaged and good quality.

I have used several temperature probes in the past including some that had remote apps that could read the probe. This is the only probe I have ever used that actually works reliably and accurately. It connected immediately with my phone and the Thermopro app. One thing that caught me by surprise is that when I was done using it, I unplugged the probes and my phone with the app on it started beeping LOUDLY because I accidentally had my phone's volume turned all the way up. App and thermometer are both easy to use. I also like that it is rechargeable.

Now, I am a perfectionist about products like this. I feel like if I put a temperature probe into boiling water at sea level, it ought to read 212.001 *at the most*. But that isn't realistic and it isn't necessary for a cooking-grade thermometer. I got 213 and 214 across probes (see picture), which is a pretty small error, which is fine. But here's the main thing that impressed me: as I was installing the app, I was kind of fuming to myself about how annoying it is that anything we want to use nowadays, we have to register with an email address and, more often than not, a cell phone number. Imagine my very pleasant surprise when I installed this app, instantly paired it to the thermometer and was DONE. Setup complete, no account required, minimum BS. FANTASTIC. I cannot praise the product and company enough for this. (I have an Android phone, BTW.) If I have a real complaint, it's that the probe ends don't snap into the receptacles cleanly and satisfyingly. They are a little difficult to push in. They work fine, I just kind of expect a higher-quality "feel" to something like that. But for the price of this probe, that is certainly not worth dinging my rating. Bluetooth, the app, the alarms and vibrations worked *perfectly*, first time. The app is easy to use, and you don't actually really need the app if all you want to do is monitor temperature from the display. You can't set an alarm without the app, though. 10/10 would buy again. I have no idea why I waited as long as I did to upgrade my broken old meat thermometer.

Ordered this to go with the new propane grill my wife got from her company as an anniversary gift. First this was well packaged and arrived in good condition, it was easy to get ready, took longer to download the app than it did to get this ready to use, we love the fact that you can set alarms for each probe and monitor the meat right on the phone, we can even keep an eye on temps while we're in our house or elsewhere working or playing games, just don't get too far away or the app will disconnect, it does have good range so you don't have to stay real close. The app was easy to set up and connected easily, caution the alarm is loud, it will sure get your attention quickly. Cleanup is easy, just a simple wipe, perhaps a bit of scrubbing with a soapy dishcloth and a rinse, then dry. Caution the probes do get very hot when in use, best to use gloves even when using utensils to turn the meat because the probes can shift and bump a finger while moving the meat, that doesn't feel good at all, even a slight bump can hurt. Overall, yes we would highly recommend this product to anyone that grills, if you do much at a time get two or more sets, you'll be glad you did, and yes you can use this without the app on your phone.

appear to be very accurate. Use with a Kamato Joe, first time use, steaks came out perfectly Medium Rare. This is my second set of thermometers, had a wireless set, but I like these better. Good connection with phone from anywhere in my home. Highly Recommend these, or any product by ThermPro

Works great, looks good and charges quickly was a great deal during black Friday. Have used it for smoking brisket so far. 2 probes for ambient temp and 2 for meat temps both were accurate to within 2 degrees.

This thermometer works fantastic, all 4 probes measured the same temp and the connection was rock solid no matter where I was in my house. The app is easy to use, doesn't come with any extra rubbish like other thermometer apps do making them complex to use, it is straight forward and simple. It does ask for location services to be on of using the app, not sure why it needs it, but once it was installed and connected, i turned it off and it still worked. I love the graph feature and the early warning alarm, to remind you to remove the meat before your set temp as to not over cook the meat. The back light is bright and easy to see in daylight and it also has a useful hook on the back. Only used once and my review may change after several uses. The only one thing that could be better are the probe clamps that connect to the grill plate, they fall down and don't hold the probe up. Maybe it's my grill plate and not the probe clamps, but I didn't need them anyway. So far I would recommend this brand and model, I think great value for money.
