High value at low cost
Great small reel for the size light weight and value for the money Shimano is one of my favorite products. Casting is very smooth use 6lb line teamed with a small 5ft rod just a fun lightweight reel

Still great reels
Been using Shimano quickfire reels since they were first introduced, and still using a symetre aero 1000 and a solstace aero 1000. And this syncopate 4000 is another great addition to my fishing equipment. Hopefully Shimano will always have models of quickfire reels available.

Love the "NO FAIL BAIL"
Have used Shimano"trigger" bails for over 30 years. The only reels I use. I have numerous models of these. Have never lost a fish due to lack of instant reverse. Kayak fish fast rivers, small and big lakes and Lake Michigan with these. The one hand operation is essential as the other hand is always busy with paddle management. I've tried other open face reels and its a 2 hand operation to cast. Shakespeare made a no fail bail but it was not well made. Would love to see a multiple bearing high end reel with the trigger feature. I'd pay well for that. \ These are the higher end of Shimano's trigger series. Nice and smooth compared to the cheaper ones. I have at least a dozen of these as I often take out a fishing neophyte and very easy to teach them to cast with this. I use one of these for ice fishing also. Try it out, I think you will like this quality, nicely priced reel.

Easy to use
This spinning fishing reel has been a great find. It works really smoothly, casts well, and feels solid and well-made for the price. Iโve had no issues with tangling, and the drag system performs reliably when reeling in fish. One of my favorite features is that itโs left-handed friendly. The handle can be easily switched, which makes it comfortable and natural to use without any awkward adjustments. Thatโs something I always look for and not every reel gets right. Overall, a dependable reel that performs well and is versatile for both right- and left-handed users. Definitely a great option whether youโre a beginner or more experienced.
