I read the reviews and still could not believe these towels would be good to use at the beach. But alas, we tried them on two beach trips this summer and they are great. They don’t take up too much room in your bag, are absorbent snd dry quickly. Plus they are very soft and the colors are beautiful. Great purchase.

These towels far surpassed my expectations. Firstly, they’re gorgeous. I ordered several different colors and all are true to color and vibrant. The quality is great, they’ve held up for several washes with no wear or damage even to the tassels. They’re super quick drying, perfect for long days at the beach when you use the same towel 20 times. They repel sand!!!! I specifically wanted to test this claim, and it’s true. I used my towel in the sand to lay out, shook it off when I was done and wrapped it around myself and it wasn’t sandy. They are the perfect thickness, not as thick as a regular Beach towel, so we’re able to fit several easily in it suitcases on beach vacay. These towels are so pretty (and good sized) I would take them to any outdoor event/camping/stadium where you might get chilly. I get so many compliments on these towels.

I bought this towel specifically for a beach trip. It rolled up small to fit into my carry-on luggage. The towel looks beautiful up close and appears to be high quality fabric and construction. I washed it twice immediately and there was no loose threads or premature wearing.I used this to just lay down on the beach, didnt get a chance to test out how well it absorbs water.This towel is thinner than what I was expecting, but I needed a towel that would roll up small, so this worked out perfect.I actually have it hanging up on a wall right now as a faux tapestry in my temporary home office.The towel is textured slightly, but it's not a thick texture, which is what I was expecting. But again, since this is more of a lightweight towel, I guess that makes sense.Overall, this towel was what I needed and am enjoying it.

The packaging was terrible and extremely frustrating. It came in plastic packaging with all their sucked out of it squished to th size of a small basketball so that the robe looked lower had the wrinkles pressed into the fabric. This was a gift & I was afraid the wrinkles would never come out. So I sent it back

I ordered two different "Turkish Towels" and this one was by far the better one. It feels like a blanket when dry and has good absorbency too.I have washed and dried it twice now and it seems to hold up. I add some vinegar as in the fabric softener compartment to keep it soft.I have used it once at the gym and once at home to dry off after a shower. It gets me very dry and does not stay wet for a long time after. The only slight downside is that it's a bit see through, so when I walked from the shower to the locker I made sure to put some undergarments on first.I added pictures with a tape measure to show the length. I also added some photos of the dimensions I got it to rolled up (and secured with a rubber band). Finally, there is a picture for color comparison with a pink chewable Pepto.

I will start off by saying that I do not usually write reviews, and I’m a pretty avid Amazon shopper. I have seen mixed reviews on these towels, so I want wanted to share. I looked for about a week straight for Turkish towels for my boyfriend and I to take on our cruise to the Bahamas. I was skeptical because of the absorbency ratings, but gave it a shot. These towels are absolutely wonderful!! I am 5’6 and had enough room to lay out without my head or feet in the sand, even after washing them (they did not shrink). On our second beach day, a storm came through and we had to walk about 3/4 of a mile and stand in the downpour. My boyfriend put his towel over our backpack, and when we got back to the room, the bag was only damp. The towel was soaked, of course, but dried pretty fast once we rung it out and hung it up. You can only imagine how absorbent it was when drying just us off. They fit perfectly in our standard size backpack with wallets, keys, phones, travel bag for medicine, a change of clothes for each of us, and all the small random items. So soft and lightweight. These towels are so amazing and I will definitely be ordering more!

I wanted to try out one of these towels to see if it lived up to the claims. It really did!! It is very lightweight, rolls up small which is great for travel. It was absorbent, fast drying and soft as promised. The only downside is that you cannot dry in dryer but I hang up and it really dries quickly anyway so not a deal breaker. It also makes a really cute sarong to cover up when not swimming. I’m sold and will be replacing all of my regular beach towels with these!

Already had the hand towels and love them. Ordered these for summer company, and opened them up (after the return window) and both had issues. One has a hole, the other is sewn poorly with the fabric scrunched and overlapped. Really disappointed after I so loved the hand towels. These towels look and feel good, just wish they were sewn better. Generous size

Absolutely LOVE these. I have other brands but this one was the PERFECT weight for me. Still folds up to take NO space in the closet but is soft and surprisingly absorbent. Quite a stunning look. If you want that big plus towel experience this is not for you, but I love them and plan to replace the rest of my towels with these - will save SO much space and they can all be washed in one load. Can’t beat it!

Just as described

I love the design but was disappointed in the lack of absorbency. It does not dry well. I read that Turkish towels become more absorbent after each wash but I wonder how long this takes. I have had other Turkish towels that were very absorbent from the get go.

Its nice as a blanket but i actually wanted a bath towel. I doesn't dry that good, its ok for body but not for hair.
