Royal Horticultural Society Desk Diary 2021

I have used these diaries for a few years now. I like the size and the layout. But the overall production quality of this 2021 diary is poor, compared to previous editions! The print quality of the illustration plates is terrible — fuzzy and washed-out. Even the paper quality feels inferior. I see that the publisher of the diary has changed this year, so perhaps that is the problem. It is printed in China, but that was true for 2020, too, so maybe this has to do with changes in suppliers and a different production plant. Whatever the reason, it is disappointing. I doubt I will buy be purchasing a 2022 RHS diary.

This was the only journal I could find that was anywhere close to the Country Diary by Michel Design Works. I used that journal/diary for almost all the years they printed it and really enjoyed it. This diary is nothing in comparison to that book, but it did have room for daily thoughts. Thanks

I couldn’t wait for this diary to be delivered.Based on the many positive reviews I knew I would not be disappointed.It is lovely quality and the art is a charming surprise as you turn each page.

There is just enough room to write a bit about your day, weather, or special happenings. It is fun to keep track of your years as they quickly go by.

This is a very pretty planner. Looking forward to using it and hoping 2021 is a better year!

I just love the looks and feel of this diary.

I have been using this RHS diary style for several years - love the illustrations - they being joy!I hadn't ordered it from Amazon before and didn't want a big desk diary and wasn't sure what a 'desk diary' size was, as no dimensions given - so I can now tell you it's 18 x 24cm (7 x 9.5 inches) Just a bit bigger than A5 and the same as the ones I purchased elsewhere previously! :0)

Arrived today 2 Feb. I was a bit late in ordering. I have has this diary for a few years now, but this is the first time I have bought it from Amazon. The cover, in the past has been shinny. but it has now gone to a textured. cover. Also new this year is a small pocket on the inside cover, which I will find very useful. The actual paper used in the diary is also slightly different, it is a smooth paper. I am pleased this as in the past it had a slight sheen and sometimes it would smudge once you had written something. A reviewer has said the quality of the paper has gone down. I disagree the quality is as good. just a different type. can recommend

I buy an RHS Diary every year; my entire social life gets noted down and I would be lost without it. The illustrations are so beautiful, and the diary so well made that after a year of heavy wear there is never any sign of loose pages or binding failing - they are a tradition now for me and I look forward to the watercolours in the new edition each year.

I have an RHS diary every year and it is ideal for my purpose of writing down forthcoming events. It’s a week to a page facing a nice botanical painting. It’s is printed on good quality paper which allows for rubbing out of pencilled entries if necessary.
