Absolutely. Indestructible.
OK, so it may not be the most elegant or fashionable belt out there. If I were wearing a suit, for example, this would NOT be the belt I would choose to wear with it. But I have a problem with most so-called "dress belts": they are made like crap. They break. The buckles break, the belt itself unravels because its not a single piece of leather, but instead two extremely thin pieces of leather sewn together. And it's not like I'm all that hard on my clothes. I have an office job. I'm not even super overweight or anything, putting extra strain on the belts. They just fricken break. I'm sick to death of it.Therefore, a while back I decided to get this belt. In terms of durability, this belt deserves about 28 stars. It is made of a SINGLE piece of leather that is about an eighth of an inch thick. The buckle hardware is made of metal that is equally as thick. I'm not sure, but I think the buckle hardware is made of steel, not aluminum. If you were hung on a hook by this belt and bounced up and down like a pinata, I very much doubt that this belt would break or even become damaged.

Genuine Top-Grade Belt
This heavy-duty belt is the “real thing,” a 100% thick leather belt that’s true to size and is 1.75 inches wide, ideal for the belt loops in jeans. Unlike some other brands, this belt has only enough double-row holes to allow the wearer to find a comfortable fit without weakening the rest of the belt, which ones with double-row holes for the full length of the belt tend to do. An important plus about this belt is the design of the buckle, which has a dark rather than bright finish and is attached to the belt by four large rivets that hold the two prongs and the leather loop securely in place. With this belt, it’s important to order one that fits your waist size exactly. Otherwise, you’ll have an overly long belt.

Nice but could have been perfect.
Image - Old different manuf. on left . . . New Logical manuf. on right.Pro - The leather is thick, heavy duty, a full 1//2" width - (slightly more) 42mm width ( most manufacturers go slightly less 36mm ), fills in the standard loop in pants better. The buckle nicely riveted in place +/_ depends on preference vs being sewed in place. I believe rivets are stronger, more durable but difficult to repair when/if go bad when poorly set. They did a nice job setting these.Con - The reason for my purchase of these was the double hole buckle. Unfortunately, Logical only punched holes 8" into belt instead of entire belt. Just a note: This is the first time I have ever seen a double hole belt that was NOT punched the entire belt and not centered ( image attached ). The partial hole punching should have been mentioned and shown in product description. Image of unrolled belt. That was my only changeable "con" so I have decided to keep the belt and order a leather punch to try my hand at finishing the job by punching the remaining holes myself. Like I mentioned in Pro - this belt leather is of better quality than I have been able to find in the past so it might be worth the extra work.NOTE TO LOGICAL: Punch double hole belts entire length, looks better and will fit a wider range of waists. And punch them straight/centered! OR show image making it obvious the belt is only partially punched.

Great work belt. Very thick, nice quality
There are hundreds of belt options on amazon. The belt I am replacing is over 20 years old, and eventually I came across this one, and Im glad I did. It was slightly more expensive than others, but its worth every penny. I use this belt as a work belt, so I wanted at least 1.5 in (this is 1.75) and was hoping the leather itself was thick, and it is. I can tell this belt will last me a very long time. My ONLY downside, which I know I need to wait and see how it wears, it the length. Every belt I own is a "36" so I bought this belt in a 36, and it is just a tiny bit small. I held it up to my other belts and the holes are just slightly shorter than the others. I am pretty sure this belt will stretch slightly with use, so Im not worried about it. It does have a VERY strong leather smell, which I love. What do you expect from new leather? I will probably buy another of these belts in a different color when Im done writing this review. I got the dark brown and its exactly what the pic looks like. Buy this belt.

FANTASTIC BELT
Fantastic Belt! Style and construction are exactly what I was looking forOut of the box there is almost no odor at all - Just the slight and pleasant smell of good leather. The brown color was just the right shade too.The belt is wide but fits in the belt loops of my Lee Riders okay.Sadly I had to return my belt because it was too long and the next smaller size is not available. To help other buyers out here are some approximate measurements for the 40" belt'Thickness of the leather = about 5/16"There are 5 sets of holes about 1" apartOverall length from buckle hinge to tip = 46"Length from buckle hinge to first (shortest) set of holes = 38"Length from Buckle hinge to 5th and last (longest) set of holes = 42"Length from first set of holes to tip of belt = 8"Length from last set of holes to tip = 4"It looks like the buckle would add about 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" to a buckled belt.So on the shortest set of holes a buckled belt would be about 39" to 39 1/2 " on the outside.
