Used on monitor heater
I spliced into a monitor heater where thermostat is obsolete. I also used as an outdoor reset for my boiler, it connected into the aquastat. Most heating equipment that requires a two wire thermostat to monitor the air temperature will use this type of sensor. I imagine this would be useful on Rinnai heaters too, to extend the thermostat away from the unit.

Works great with Mysa thermostat
Easy to install, seems robust enough to last. I have installed 2 sensors under the tile floor incase one goes bad.
