As I aged jeans just do not fit the same as even 10 years ago. These fit me perfect even after washing where I do not have to unbutton the top mid day after eating . I would buy your regular size , I did not size up or down. I bought so many ..I love them

These jeans are amazing, comfortable, and help hide my postpartum belly. I was worried about spending this amount on jeans but figured it was worth a try after I couldn't get any jeans to fit me good after my csection and I wasn't disappointed. I have bought 2 more pairs since, absolutely amazing jeans.

Flattery or comfort? Couldn't have both, until now. These jeans have the most comfortable waistband imaginable, not too tight, too loose, too rigid, too wide...I'm a size 10, 33" menopause belly with 40" hips-NOTHING has fit and been comfortable at the same time till I discovered these. Never stressing over buying jeans again or having only one pair that was mediocre. LOVE THEM.

Love these so much! Very flattering fit. I'm petite and they are just right for me @ 4'11" sz 8Pockets hold my cell phone, in the front or back pocket. Compliments everytime Iwear them.

This black jeans are absolutely gorgeous. I love it and I don't want to wear any other jeans to work, it fits perfectly and I love all the pockets, it's perfect for my job. I will buy more of these lovely jeans.

I was genuinely surprised with these. Super comfortable jeans, and fairly flattering. Just wished they offered longer sizes, I’m 5’8 and prefer a 32” length minimum.

First, I have to say I almost never write reviews but these are just that good.Second, I need to specify that this review is for the ones called "Bl blue" that have an artfully ripped hole in the knee. I also ordered a pair called "blue" and I sent them back because they were no where near as amazing as these. The waistband was tighter and itchy. The tag called them jeans vs jeggings which I assume is what made the difference. I ended up going to the Democracy website and ordering another pair like the first "Bl blue" ones in a different shade of blue (though not with the nicer amazon prize with free prime shipping unfortunately). They are equally amazing!! In fact, I got rid of every other pair of jeans I own because I will never choose them over these.I have washed and dried them- no issues whatsoever. I do always wash my clothes on cold/delicate and remove to hang or lay flat before they are fully dry. I doubt I'd have an issue though even if drying these on full blast. They are very stretchy BUT with that said, they do not stretch out or get baggy 20 minutes after you put them on. I've worn the same pair 2-3 times before washing and they have the same fit every time.To start with, I am fairly average size but after having 4 kids I have a mommy pooch that you know, is not ever going to go away without expensive surgery so I was looking for something that was flattering in that area and was comfortable- didn't dig in painfully. These meet and exceed those goals. I could literally sleep in them if I had to they are that comfortable but at the same time look really nice and can easily be dressed up or down. The soft band inside holds you in snugly but comfortably. It makes them feel more like leggings than jeans but they look more like jeans than leggings (with real zipper and button). Now that I own two pairs I doubt I really need any more but if I do I will not look anywhere else.For anyone wanting to know, since the description doesn't include it. The "Bl blue" ones are "Ab"solution Booty Lift Jeggings which according to the tag come "featuring slimming panels construction to mold and hold and boost your assets" that they do!

The jeans are great. Good quality, super stylish. However. I ordered a size 38, which corresponds to an 8 in US sizes. This 6 is what came. I thought maybe the US sizing changed again, so I checked the measurements. Nope! This is just on the site as a 38 when it's actually a 36. I have 3 pairs of Democracy jeans which I ordered in size 38 within the last 2 years, and they came in the correct size. So I don't know what's up with this, but a 6 is NOT a 38.

These jeans are soooo comfortable! And they will adjust with you a size or so which is great. Definitely worth the $I also want to add to beware of counterfeit pairs on here. I bought a tan pair and you could tell they were knock offs (simple stitching, belt loops were different, tag in back read Abtechnology not Absolution)

I owe 3 pairs jeans from this brand and absolutely love the fit, very flattering for a curvy figure. I wish they were less expensive though. The color is very dark blue, almost black, they are stretchy and super comfortable. Definitely will buy them again.
