If you suffer from back pain and have tried EVERYTHING that DIDN'T work, this is the product for you.
I don't usually write reviews, but this time I had to. I have suffered from back pain since I was around 11 years old (I'll be 40 in a few months). I can't even remember what it feels like not to be in pain. I have tried everything from skeptical as seen on TV devices, inversion tables, to pain killers and Yoga and meditation (Anything to stop the constant pain). So when I saw the Stamina Inline traction system I though..OKAY yet another device with high hopes that will probably end up at a yard sale some day, but like all the others before I decided to give it a try. I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WITH THIS DEVICE. Of course there are a few little things that are not perfect, and the construction is not aircraft quality or NASA certified, BUT for the price you can't go wrong. I owned an inversion table for 15 years and rarely used it. It was time consuming to take everything out of my pockets, find the space for it to swing wildly in the air, clamp my ankles in and have the blood rush to my head. And of course it never seem to work on the area that was in pain amd seemd to cause more pain in my ankles and legs than anything else. The Stamina is different. It's simple and fas., I can use it 10 times a day if I want, for a quick pressure release or a longer stretch. Best yey, IT ACTUALLY TARGETS THE RIGHT AREA. It takes a little getting used to and a little experimentation, but you can adjust the machine to stretch exactly where it needs to stretch. As a hint... Adjust the height high on your waist and the belt/strap close you waist to target the upper back and lower the height and move the belt back for lower back, somewhere in the middle is the sweet spot that gets the entire back. Hold your elbow close together for the upper back and farther apart for the lower back to allow more of a forward stretch. Bend your knees for lower back, straighten them for the upper back. So if it isn't stretching the right spot, experiment until it does. This isn't the machine to end all of your back pain for good, but if you are like me and live a life of constant pain, and have known your chiropractor and acupuncturist longer than your wife or husband, and know more about your massage therapist than your brothers and sisters, the Stamina InLine will be a great addition to your arsenal of healing if you take the time to learn how to use it. It's strong, affordable, reliable, simple, strong (I'm 6'0 200lb) and effective. I am completely satisfied and would give it a higher rating if I could.

Excellent machine for home use!
I have several bulging discs in my low back and have been going to physical therapy and getting traction to avoid back surgery. The traction was the only thing that helped, without it I had pinched nerve pain so bad down my leg I was using crutches. However, you can't wait for the expensive treatments every time the back pain flares up. I was skeptical about any home machine working well enough to really help. So far I have been using this everyday, sometimes for 10 minutes other times 30. It provides excellent relief. I tried a friends home machine you lay on and turn the handle yourself. It was bulky, uncomfortable and not something you can do easily and quickly. This doesn't take up to much room, it's very sturdy and I have been able to use it to stretch and strengthen my core as well as getting results very close to the traction I was getting twice a week. My only complaint is my arms and chest got quite sore the first several times I used it as well as any time I use it more than 10 minutes. But, I'll take that over the back and sciatic nerve pain. Overall I think it's worth the money. I've recommended it to several others I knew from Physical therapy, all of them who have tried it out agree it's a great alternative to traction.

This Back Stretcher Really Works !!!
Our review of The Stamina Inline Traction Control System. This device is for spinal decompression without inversion.Gravity always compresses are spine by pulling down on us. This gravity also puts a lot of stress on our spine or disc and are spinal nerves. Inversion, is a great way to reverse best compression caused by gravity and helps to lengthen and stretch out the back takes the pressure off of the discs and helps the nerves have better circulation. I have a friend who's a chiropractor and he says that inversion is very effective. But not everybody likes to invert. Now the stamina inline traction control system, allows for Focus stretching or traction on the lower back and middle back. This device is easy to assemble and can hold up to 250 lb person. When you use this device you must make sure that you adjusted properly to fit your body. The waist belt to hold your pelvis in place should be placed just below the hip bones. Next to upper body needs to be placed in the upper portion your elbows go inside of those big black rollers and that should be adjusted to squeeze your upper body just under your underarms. Now as you grab the handlebars and you lean forward your muscles will be tight and resist stretching out. So continue to Lean Forward with a steady stretch until you are level with the ground. I found that 5 to 10 minutes is adequate. As you static stretch, you'll be able to get lower and lower and lower until you reach flat level angle. This traction device Works quite well. And will not only stretch your lower back but also align your lower back and middle back. Take your time, do not rush, do not bounce. Just a slow steady static stretch leaning forward. Okay that's it.Mahalo, thank you, hugs Wes n Wanda Anzai - Hawaii
