Robyn Is Here

Now, don't get me wrong - I love Britney and her ilk too - but there is something about a pop singer who is willing to take creative risks and has something real to say that really makes me happy. I've been listening to this album for over a year now and Robyn has become a real favorite. She is upbeat and positive without being schmaltzy, her singing is easy to listen to and begs to be sung along with, and the lyrics have some meaning and interest to them so that the CD is still good to listen to even after a lot of plays. Show me Love is one of my top Robyn favorites, and the rest of the songs are very good too. A few I usually skip over, but none of them are annoying, and many are standouts that always end up on my mix CDs that I make for listening in the car. This is a no-brainer purchase if you like pop music. Robyn wears well over time and is a great addition to any pop library. She's adorable in concert, too! Her energy is really great.

I've always loved Robyn's music. It's rare for me to love a song from the very first time I hear it. But that's how it was when I first heard "Do You Know (What It Takes)" back in 1997. I also love "Show Me Love". Great voice!

The CD is great and listening to it right now LOL. The product arrived right on the day that it was estimated to arrive. The product inside the package was not fully protected but otherwise I would use this sellar again any day. Thank you so much for your services

Robyn was my favorite singer when I was young. I enjoy listening to her. This cd came in good condition as described and in good time. I really am glad I purchased it! Thanks!!

Love it, replacement for the one I wore out

Let me start out by saying that I love Robyn's more recent albums. They are in turns catchy, distinctive, and powerful (Dancing on My Own, With Every Heartbeat, Who's That Girl, and Handle Me are favorites). I also love her signature voice - no one else sounds like her. I was excited to explore some of her older stuff. All I came away with is this: didn't anyone who produced it notice most songs have almost the same snare drum beat? Bmm bmm tsss, bmm bmm tsss. It's dated and I'm sooo glad she went on to make much better music.

I love this CD and was excited to find it at such a great price.

I bought this album years ago and lent it to someone never returned. Robyn is an amazing talent which shines through on her first album , if you get a chance listen to it especially the track ,"i don't want you back ".

So excited! I've been trying to get hold of this album for ages and have emerged victorious at last. Okay, maybe not that dramatic but I'm pretty darn happy to have it. She's wonderful and has a very distinctive sound that stays with you. 'Show Me Love' is an upbeat, positive, bluesy mixed with techno song that requires multiple listenings. I never tire of it. A must-have, in my humble opinion.

学生の頃に買って手放したものを何となく再購入しました。 何これ！凄くイイじゃん！ きっと私の感性がやっと追い付いたのでしょう。 内容はダンスポップ。プロデューサーがBackstreet Boys なども手掛けていた人なので売れセンの曲がたくさんあります。
