Love the art and story, not the translation
I adore this manga. That said, the first two volumes had some translation issues and this volume is even worse. Korean has limited curse words, so while English has many, they keep translating all the insults as "punk." It seems out of place in the historical fantasy setting. And there were a couple panels where the font was black but the background of the speech bubbles was so dark gray that you could hardly read them.Volume 2 introduced two new characters, King Asakin and his advisor(?), Caesar. They are featured prominently in volume 3 and I don't like them. Asakin is probably a teenager, but he is extremely whiny and childish and keeps walking into Igen's bedroom at all hours. And, despite being a guest of Igen's, he taunts and torments Igen as often as possible. What was great about this volume (besides the continual gorgeous art) was that Igen's and Kassan's relationship progresses to the point where everyone around them recognizes they are in love. Also, the plot to kill Igen escalates and leaves you biting your nails at the end of the book. I can't wait for the next volume to arrive this week!
