My dog's favourite brand. But.
It looks nice and meaty, but when I empty tins there is always fat left sticking to inside tins so have to scrub them before putting in recycle bin.One batch I had were all dented. This delivery was good, saves me carrying very heavy parcels up 16 steep steps thanks to being Amazon Prime.

My Dogs Love It!
Although I have recently taken to cooking meals for my two dogs, I like to have cans of dog food for them as an alternative. Thus Butchers dog food - 'Loaf' variety - is a splendid fall back for when I want to give them a change/break. I mix it with a little bit of cheese, and they love it. Good value for money too when you buy in bulk. Highly recommended.

Loaf is Best
The loaf varieties are the most "dry" varieties. I find the gravy ones just a tin of slop and the jelly ones aren't as firm as they used to be so the loaf varieties are now the go-to cans to buy. All my dogs have always loved Butcher's food as well, especially the stinky tripe ones !! These cans are for my mum's dogs and for my little ones I buy their pate varieties in trays and they always go down well, too.Updated:Down to 4* cos' pretty much every single can was dented and bashed around !!!

Good meaty and no nasties!
The smell is not unpleasant!Sooki is mostly fed on home cooked food, but if non available she is very happy to eat Butchers wet food.

Good moist meat
Dog loves all Butchers range. Tbh didn’t look at this as it said “whole grain.” I assumed it would have wheat in it, but it’s 4% whole grain rice, which my dog can eat without it making her itch and scratch. It also contains a few peas and carrots and is gentle on her stomach. No complaints from the pooch and she wolfs it down.

When you have 4 dogs, buying their food becomes a regular event!This meat loaf selection is reasonably priced and, importantly, the dogs love it. We alternate purchases with the tripe version and get 18kg bags of biscuit - to give a bit more variety.Swift home delivery alleviates the chore of having to carry it all home from the shops!
