Not hard at all
Set comes with 3 hole saws and one spare bit that pilots in the centre. I broke one bit the first time I used the hole saws on some mild steel, 4mm thick. Then I’ve used all three of them maybe 2/3 times since. In that time, the middle one has shattered or chipped every single one of its cutting edges, you’d think these were made of glass.

Can cut through SS cabinet and thick 65ft lamp post easely. Use it a lot for work. Recommends!

I wish I had bought these long before I did.
This is a very nice product for anyone that does electrical work. It has the sizes you will need for most clamp connectors and conduit. Cuts through the metal box very smoothly with no sharp edges.

Cut through stainless steel dog bath tube for faucet like butter
Have used for stainless steel - 14 and 16 gauge only. Broke one carbide tip off on the fourth hole, had a new one put on and tool sharpened and it has cut about 30 more holes and looks like it could cut another 30. I think the carbide cutter that broke was a poor weld.
