I received the beans today - I used them to make vanilla extract. They are amazing! The beans were about 6 to 7" long, extremely fragrant, plump, moist, and pliable. I bought the 30-pack and they are the best vanilla beans I have ever purchased. I'm making vanilla extract for Christmas gifts, and will definitely be ordering these again!

I have purchased beans and made vanilla before with less than exciting results, but these beans are incredible. I will never buy anywhere else again. No sign of mold or spoilage. They smelled and looked fabulous and after a week the extract smelled and tasted richer than the other stuff did after 6 weeks.

Don't waste your time and money buying any other vanilla beans. These are by far the best beans I have ever bought from Amazon and other sources. They have a strong vanilla smell and plump. Not dried up and hard. They are much longer then I expected. I made a double fold vanilla extract, vanilla paste and had some left over that I stored in sugar. The flavor of the vanilla bean is absolutely luscious in baking.

I’ve never purchased vanilla beans online, only grocery store one in a jar. These are 100% better then those!They’re so fresh and soft, I was surprised. When I cut the bag open you could smell the vanilla and cutting the bean open was really nice and soft. Never going to buy vanilla beans in a jar again 1 in a jar for $10? I purchased 30 less then $2 a piece. Yeah! 😃. Honestly couldn’t be happier. Made yogurt straight away. Look at all the vanilla - that was 1/2 a bean!Next ice cream!

Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.It's been awhile since I purchased vanilla beans so I was quite shocked by how expensive they've gotten. I spent over an hour reading reviews for various vanilla bean listings before deciding on purchasing from Stavoren Trading Co. I liked there info regarding sustainability and quality; I felt like they would stand behind their product if I was unhappy with it. I purchased only 10 to try it out. If I'm happy with how the vanilla extract I'm infusing right now turns out, I will definitely repurchase from them again.The vanilla beans were fragrant in the package. Perhaps not as fragrant as I recall vanilla beans to be in the past but that might be due to ordering a small quantity. It was vacuum sealed tightly. The beans weren't as plump as I hoped but they were still fairly long (definitely on the longer end of the listed 6 inches) and juicy with plenty of caviar. None were dried out nor brittle. Therefore, I'm satisfied and will try to report back once my vanilla is fully infused.

The package I bought had 114 lovely beans, enough for 12 large bottles of vanilla extract for holiday gifts this year. Only 1 bean was less than 6", the rest were more. The beans I bought from a different company were much thinner and shorter, hard to split and cost much more by weight for an inferior product. These were excellent in every way!

I use these beans for making vanilla extract and also as flavoring for baked goods. They are much better quality than anything you can find in the grocery store. I love the freshness and the wonderful flavor/aroma and all around goodness of these beans. I will be a returning customer!

I ordered 30 Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla beans, they came packaged in 3 vacuum sealed packs of 10. These beans are beautiful! The description read "beans are 5 - 6 inches long", but they are longer than that, pliable and smell amazing!! No mold, no dried out beans. There was ONE bean, out of 30, that had a strange blemish on it, but I just didn't use that part of it. Included with these is a nicely boxed, empty bottle - perfect for a gift of homemade vanilla extract - and a friendly, hand written Thank You note on the packing slip/receipt. I'll save the empty bottle for another time - I used all 30 beans in a 1.7L bottle of vodka. (It's not in my budget right now to buy more beans for the small bottle.) You can see from the picture, the vodka is already changing color. I'll store the bottle away from heat and direct sunlight and give it a shake every few days for at least 3 months. (I don't know if this is the "proper" way to do it, but that's how I've done it in the past with great results.) Then I'll smell it and decide if it's ready to use. I feel like a kid waiting for an early Christmas present - the anticipation of opening that bottle!! I can hardly wait!!
