Colossal Red King Crab Legs Wild Caught 3 lb

This purchase was a birthday gift for my 83 year old mother living in Idaho who knows and loves good crab meat. She’s from Bodega Bay, CA and even worked at the Tides in the 50’s while her father was a commercial fisherman up and down the Pacific coast including the crab season in Alaska. She knows her crab. The order arrived on time in good shape and met all expectations. According to her the crab legs were some the of largest she had seen, delicious with plenty of meat and prepared the way they should be for the best flavor.

I sent them to my son for Christmas. He lives in Texas and they arrived in great condition well packed and fully frozen. He prepared them for dinner and told me that they were the best crab legs that he had eaten. They were very "meaty" and very flavorful . I think i will send him another batch soon.

The crab was as described but it is expensive and nobody should complain on here because you know what you’re getting into before you click the button. If you’re boiling the legs and they’re frozen, thaw them overnight in the refrigerator then prepare your large pot with boiling water and Zatarains or whatever Seafood Boil seasoning and do 1-3 legs at a time for 1-1.5 minutes, drain and enjoy. If the legs crack loudly then you boiled them just right, soft and not cracky then you overcooked.

I loved the size and the timely manner they arrived in. Although they were a little salty, and I prefer sweet crab, I just purchased two more orders. I will try to eliminate the salt taste somehow. And, if they arrive as timely as before, I will be a loyal customer.

They advertise king crab legs. Some companies advertise legs and claws or clusters. I ordered these expecting all legs. I received my 3 lb. But more than half the weight was 1 big claw. Very disappointing as it was for a special birthday for my niece. Will never order these again. Horrible!!!

I love crab! Found the crabs legs on here so I purchased them. Loved how they packaged them. The freshness of the legs was great! The taste was delicious! Good amount of meat I got from them so the price was reasonable!

It came late and was unthawed it was three legs but broken in half at this price maybe it could’ve been 4 or 5 broken legs... haven’t taste them yet hope they still good after that late delivery and beat up box... update they did taste good

In 2020 my financial situation had improved so I could afford to order crab legs, live lobsters, and lobster tails. I live in Tucson so I expect seafood to be more expensive than it was when I lived in Connecticut. One of my orders was to Robert Wholey and Co. for three pounds of colossal red king crab legs. When they arrived I thawed them out, then steamed them. I then extracted the meat for a casserole. There was so much crab meat it really resulted in a very crabby dish. I don't know why so many customers were disappointed. I was not. I will order this item again. next year if it is available.
