Bye-Bye, Bully: A Kid's Guide for Dealing with Bullies (Elf-Help Books for Kids)

I bought this book for my 6 year old grandson who was already having to deal with bullying issues at school. It is perfect for young elementary children.I like the fact that it gives hints on how to prepare themselves to react in bullying situations. I definitely recommend this book.

The summary did not mention that there are religious references and I did not review the publisher before buying.

So much pain comes from bullying-for both the victim and the perp. This book helps both. Set with fun pics and an easy read, this book should be shared within families to teach children how to not only cope, but to divert bullying.

I think this book, through its well written text and drawings, captures the emotions and hurt of bullying. It also helps readers to realize there are assertive options to put a stop to this hurtful behvior, that represent respect of self rights and an understanding that those who do the bullying are also hurting and in need ofhelp.

I buy a lot of these series of books for my 7 year old. There is one for almost every emotion and many situations. Love books with a message especially if they have a good story line.

Again doesnt really deal with younger children. Not impressed.

I absolutely adore the pictures in these elf help books. The message is generally good to for my line of work but does often contain reference to God which is not always appropriate for working with a multi-ethnic population. I tend to change the word god to mum/dad/nan/love instead when reading it out. May be fine if working in a church school.

This is a wonderful series of books which takes the stress out of explaining some difficult subjects to your kids. God is brought into it a bit too much for my liking at a time when Mum & Dad are more important

A great book and really understandable to a 4 year old. It's religious yes - but it's easy to switch words (when you're reading it out loud) to something less so if you prefer.

This book is full of religious referencesDo not buy unless you are into that sort of stuff
