Bold Smooth Great Color
I'm thoroughly impressed with the Monteverde Capless Gel Ballpoint Refill for Parker Ballpoint Pens in Fine Point. It writes incredibly smoothly and effortlessly, feeling like a high-quality rollerball. What's remarkable is how quickly the ink dries, even with the bold and rich lines it produces. The blue-black ink is deeply saturated, creating a unique and distinctive shade. One thing to consider is that, as another customer pointed out, the 'fine' line width is sommewhat broader than typical fine refills, much closer to a 1.0mm gel pen. Nonetheless, it's an excellent choice for those who appreciate smooth writing and a distinctive ink color.

Love the Blue Black Ink
I love the blue black ink. It writes really smoothly. The ink does run out fairly quickly but I'm okay with that - worth it to me to buy these refills anyway. I use them in my Parker Jotter pens.

Probably the best alternative in Parker refills
Parker pen users know that good quality refills are hard to find. These gel refills from Monteverde are pretty good (if not up to the standards of gel refills for other pens.)The feel on paper is pretty good; fairly smooth compared to other gel pens, though not the very best. There is a little bit of skipping on some papers, which is one of the downsides to gel pens, but the performance is MUCH better than Parker's gel refills (which skip horribly on almost everything.)There are two things keeping them from a 5-star review. First, they're not very fine; in fact, comparing them directly to another brand of fine point refills, it's hard to tell any real difference. I'd call them a solid medium width.Second is Monteverde's inability to make a really dark blue-black ink. These are lighter than expected; the color is nice, just not what is normally labeled blue-black.They're good refills, they just didn't align with the expectations generated by Monteverde's specifications.

The ink flows very smooth onto paper.
Love that I can use my favorite pen again. The pen writes smoothly and easily. I have not had to scribble to get the pen working. I am very happy!

Quality pen refills
I’ve purchased from this vendor before.Always a good experience.Refills are a good quality and reasonably priced.Prompt shipping and Lanier’s website is a great resource for replacement refills when you’re not sure of the manufacturer.

The Purple ink is just basically Blue
Don't buy this is you want purple, otherwise the product is fine. Writes well and neither cartridge seemed old or dried out. The packaging is also different than what was shown and has no clear color indicator or markings. So there is no way to even tell if they just sent me a blue one accidentally.

Exactly fit replacement, gel ink, a fine point and smooth writing
Exactly what I needed and wanted. This fit my Molskine click rollerball pen (original, not the plus version) perfectly and converted it to a gel ink pen. It writes very smooth, the gel ink dries fast. I'm a lefty so that is important to me. If I write and immediately wipe there is some smearing but I expect that. I didn't notice any ink smear under normal writing, but I haven't used it much yet. I just got it. It didn't turn my hand black and that's a great thing. The original spring fit exactly and there's no binding when clicking. The tip does not extend too far or not far enough. It's just right. I have no idea how long it will last or stand up to temp and humidity. The only difference I have noted is the original had an all plastic body and this one is metal and noticably heavier but it's a pen cartridge and not a brick LOL! The original plastic one had leaked on me from the heat. I'm hoping this metal one has a more reliable seal and will not leak. It gets hot here. My pen does not feel off or unbalanced. It writes well and I'm a bit fan of the fine point.

Refills out of ink in under one month
I bought two refills in a package a month ago. One of the refills appears to be out of ink, or the ink is clogged. The ball still goes around, but no ink comes out. If this is the case, this is not a good purchase. While it worked, the ink flowed nicely, but it did smear if my left hand (I write left handed)My biggest issue is that these refills don't seem to last long at all.

So Far the Best Refill for my Parker Jotter
I have been hunting for a good alternative Parker style refill for my Jotter. I have tried the Schmidt Easyflow 9000 M and the Schneider Slider 755 XB. Although they write smooth, they still stick to the paper too much for my liking because of the oil-based/hybrid ink. You just don't get the same free-flowing writing experience that you would in a gel pen or a rollerball. The Parker Quink Gel is definitely an upgrade from the ballpoint version, but it runs a bit dry for my taste. Finally, I came across with the Monteverde Ceramic Gel. It's smooth and has good ink flow, sort of like a rollerball or a fountain pen. The black ink is water-resistant but not waterproof. It last longer compares to a water-based rollerball refill. It is a bit pricey. That's why I only use it for quick notes and jotting down ideas. For more extensive writing, I would use a fountain pen instead. So, I think this refill serves its purpose. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a smooth and wet writer for their parker style pen.
