Parker Quinkflow Ink Refill for Ballpoint Pens, Fine Point, Blue Pack of 6 Refills (1782468)

My pens originally contained a French cartridge. These are from India. I want the real thing, so I am returning them.

I am a Parker Jotter fan...been using them for years. The one thing that I have loved about them is that they don't leave blobs and blotches on my paper. BUT...that seems to be changing. Lately, I've been wrestling with the blob problem, and I find myself having to wipe the tip of my pen on a scratch paper way too often, something I'd previously never had to do.I've always preferred a fine tip to the medium which always comes standard with the Jotter, so when I saw these fine tip refills I quickly ordered some. After I replaced my old medium point refill with this, I fell in love. The fine ball point size difference is subtle yet significant to me. I'm so happy with the finer tip. AND best of all: no blobs! The ink is a bit lighter, which I happen to prefer. These are manufactured in India for Parker India, and were shipped from India (seller was valuevintage). They were packed very well, and it took 3 weeks to arrive. Worth waiting for. I'm so glad to have blob-free pens again. And a fine point, FINALLY!!! :) I will certainly order again. If you prefer to write with a fine, light, delicate stroke, this is for you. My handwriting looks much neater with this refill. UPDATE: Since I put this refill in my lavender pen, I find that's the one pen I reach for ALL the TIME, while my others sit neglected and forgotten. I really, really love these fine point refills!!!!

These are ok for normal writing jobs however, I prefer the gel-ink parker refill to this one. There however one reason to have these besides being cheaper and that is dependability. Every so often the gel will leak out a bit and form a glob on the tip of the pen. Since my pen has a cap this is not a issue, but retractable pens are another story.

I have always been a fine point person as I write slowly and that often spots with medium point pens. The line size is good, the ball flows well, but the ink transfer is not quite as hat I was hoping for.The photo is almost straight down with a heavy pen, the flow gets more spotty as the pen angle increases.

Quality is good, but ever-so-slightly larger in diameter than the units being replaced, so in some of my pens they are too tight to move. I measured them with calipers, and they were consistently .003-.005” larger in diameter, especially at the top (including the plastic). So I can’t get them all the way in, and they won’t cycle back and forth with the twist of the pen like they should. (They’ll come out, but won’t go back in). Bummer.They do work in some of my pens, and in those they’re fine, just not in all.I guess i expected them to be perfect because they were Parker brand.

The black ink is the original cartridge that came with the pen. It has already been used a bit and is original from france. However the brand new blue ink was considerably lighter. Given there might be a slight variation in density of the inks, I doubt there is this much disparity. The brand new pen should be filled to the brim and weigh much more than than the pen that has been used for a couple weeks.

The batch I received were manufactured in Nepal. They write and function as a genuine Parker. Packaging was simple and no-frills, but did come a bit damaged. Maybe because I ordered too many... The pen refills themselves were in working condition of course.

So far I'm still on my first cartridge, but it writes very smoothly with no skipping. I had bought a half dozen Schmidt brand cartridges for my Parker IM Premium pen, but I got a Parker Frontier to replace it and they wouldn't function properly. These Parker labeled units work fine in both, and so far I'm pleased and would purchase them again.

Refills arrived on time and were as described. Fit my Parker pen beautifully. Nice writers too.

My refills are packaged with 'For sale only in India/Nepal' however they fit into my pen which was originally purchased in the UK. They didn't come in a single pack of 6 and instead I received 6 individual refill packs. Ultimately I received exactly what I wanted and refills are still working after 6 days use.
