Had to switch out a massive Hagen pump for one of the cheap desertcart adjustable pumps I had kicking around. These need some decent air flow to make them work... I would recommend these all day long... Review: Bought 3 of these and using them in 5-gallon buckets with a 20w commercial air pump. They work exactly as expected and well-constructed (the barb and the glue that holds the barb adapter to the stone). Very satisfied with the product.

These are best. They put out great micro bubbles but most important to me: even full of air they sink to the bottom and stay there
