Great service and fantastic value
This cello case is lightweight but very sturdy. It arrived on time as expected. The extra rosin and the little hand written note on the packing slip are little touches of positive customer service.

Not for the long haul
I got this case about 2 years ago because I wanted to upgrade from a gig bag, but wasn't up for the cost of a full hard case. It's done pretty well for me over time to protect my cello - both my initial student instrument and my nicer carved cello. At this point, some of the seams are starting to tear and the velcro that holds the cello neck in place is coming loose. I'm going to be upgrading to a hard case soon because of these issues. That said, considering the price, this case is reasonably good value.

Good case for a little while
I bought this cello case after having to repair my daughter's cello twice while transporting it on the school bus with a soft case. This cello case is sturdy and safely protects her cello. However, after about 2 months one of the case's straps ripped at the seam and fell off. Another couple of months later the other handle tore off. Then after only 8 months of use the zipper has broken. She's a 7th grade student, bringing her cello to school 3 days a week, so there's moderate use, and I would expect a cello case to last longer. The case has a nice aesthetic and overall is in great condition and would definitely be worth the $285 spent on it if the handles and zipper didn't break within 8 months.

Needs better sewing to stress areas!
Not much to say. This rigid framed soft-case gives your cello way better protection over obviously a soft case. The storage compartments and bow storage is perfect. The case itself is not so bulky or cumbersome. So far my daughter loves the case and it even comes with a rosin cake! Definitely worth the money given some of these rigid soft cases will run you in excess of $500 in some places.UPDATE- The case itself as protection works. The weak points are the sewn carry straps and rear sewn area for holding sheet music or whatever the need. The stitching comes loose with basic wear and handling which is not indicative of what one would suspect for a case this expensive. Therefore the updated overall has to reflect a 2.5! If you buy this.....take to a seamstress prior to use to sturdy up the stress areas like carry straps, rear pocket, and be advised the hard handle screw even came loose once and I fixed.Update 2- Totally falling apart at all handle carry straps from poor materials. Stay away from this case folks as we just found a solid fiberglass case with quality handles for slightly more at a somewhat local music store.

Great case! Good price!
I got this case for my daughter who is just starting cello. She had a soft case and it was so cumbersome to take it in and out of the case. Other hard cases I looked at were so expensive. This is a great case for the price. Very pleased.

great price point for beginners
I have experience playing violin and double bass, but I wanted to give cello a try. because I am still in school I wanted a hard case to take it back and forth with more security than a gig bag, but most cello cases are $500+, and as I student I couldn’t afford to pay more for my case than I did for my cello. while this case was slightly more than my cello, I was willing to pay due to issues with cases from guitar center. this case arrived in about a week and it is the right size! (4/4) and it has two bow holders, and it is a hard case, it just doesn’t have the hard plastic shell which in turn makes it so much lighter! it comes with straps so you can transport it like a backpack, or it has a handle and wheels if not. they also very kindly gave me free rosin! at first I was hesitant because it only had one review, but I am very happy with it and would 10/10 recommend!

Absolutely Love!
I wanted a semi-hard she'll case for my spare cello which l use more during the colder months. I found a couple that l liked (from other shops) but the shipping was too much or the item was out of stock. l found this case on Amazon. It's exactly what l was looking for. Something on the lighter side but a little better than the basic padded bag. It is easy to carry and it has wheels. Again, this is just a basic semi-hard shell case, not like the more expensive cases. It has a woven material as the outer layer. Bow holders included. It's slightly longer in length than my hard shell Bobelock case. I think with regular normal use, this will last awhile!Shipping was pretty fast. I do have Prime. I received it just under a week, l believe. But the case did ship from California.I will buy this case again in the future! I will try to upload some pictures later. The images they have in the description are accurate.
