The Movian 9-Zone Gel Memory Foam Mattress from Amazon is a great memory foam mattress that provides really good support without resorting to using heavier springs, making it lighter and far easier to make the bed when you have awkward bunkbeds to make up.The mattress arrived in a long, thin box but it was heavier than it looked, needing 2 of us to get it up the stairs. Once opened it springs out to full size and takes a good 5 minutes or more to expand. Then it's best to leave for a few days if possible to fully expand and get used to the space. The instructions say 24 to 72 hours, we chose 2 days as it's in the middle of this and we didn't have to space to keep it out without putting it on the bed for longer than this.We got 2 of these to use with our daughters and they make so much difference. Both have found them to be really comfortable while still giving plenty of support despite being foam with a gel layer. I love the dot pattern on the top, too, even if you do only get to see it when you first put the mattress on or make the bed.I'd certainly recommend this and we're now thinking of saving up for the double one for ourselves.

Absolutely comfortable. I have always had sprung pockets mattresses and was skeptic of getting a memory foam one.After a very long research on all mattresses online this one was my first option and have slept wonderful since. You can trust to buy this one, it’s exactly medium firm which is ideal for your back.

Great supportive mattress. Slightly firm, but adjusts to your bodys curves. Doesn't retain memory and returns to a flat surface within the hour.

This mattress when finally unrolled and fully expanded on the bed was a little firmer then I would have liked.This one has a 5cm layer of memory foam on top of regular PU foam. It makes it comfy enough to sleep upon, but it took me a while to get used to it when I was testing it.I think this will be great as a replacement mattress for the spare single bed. Knowing I can sleep on it is reassuring too - (when you work shifts, sometimes you need to sleep in a separate bed to avoid being disturbed by the other half).It seem well made and the memory foam (what there is of it - 5cm layer remember) is really good.

I'd never had a memory foam mattress before - only hearing about them in passing myth like some great legend - so I didn't know what to expect at *all* with this. Needless to say, I was very impressed when it arrived.For a start, it's practically vacuum-packed in a bag within a cardboard box. This means it's easier than your standard mattress to get into your home and move around. Which is a plus for so many situations.Out of the box, this thing actually flattens itself really quickly, and feels great to lie on. You can really feel it 'mould' around you. It doesn't 'remember your shape' as I've heard some people claim such mattresses to do, but that's because it's not designed to. It's like falling into foam that perfectly fits around you, no matter position or orientation. You're all snuggled in, and it cradles you. The 9 zones also help each part of your body feel rested, and served medically to help those with bad backs or crooked spines. This is a really nice mattress, and feels superior to most when both lying down or just sitting. I can't get enough of it. Makes sleep that much nicer, and more comfortable.It's expensive, sure, but all memory foam mattresses are. And besides, what price can you put on a better night's sleep?

Wow, I wasn't sure what to expect from this mattress as iv never experienced flat vacced memory foam. It arrived in a tall narrow box so was so easy to get upstairs. You lay the mattress flat and release the vaccum bag, it pops up quickly but I left it 24 hours to get some air before lying on it. What can I say but wow, it's so comfy and you can immediately feel the quality of all the layers in it. It supports, yet lets you sink into it. Feels like heaven. Perfect for a guest / children's room and it's definitely made to last. Very impressed. Tempted to get a double for my master bedroom.

Lovely lovely mattress. Just opens out from its box which was packaged and delivered well and on time. Once opened you won't get back in the box by the way. Very lovely high quality feel with a soft fabric all around it. It is a bit hard but after a few days its starting to wear in but that's the same with any mattress.
