This stuff is ridiculously sticky if applied correctly. Anyone who claims it doesn’t stick do not clean the surfaces first with isopropyl alcohol. If you do that, good luck getting whatever you stuck to something back off of that surface. I have used this tape for many different applications already, and I still have a lot left. It sleeps in my “junk” drawer where it lies in wait to stick something to something else lol. It’s about an 1/8 of an inch thickness, and is easy to use. Just cut the amount desired, prepare the surfaces (both the object, and whatever you plan to stick it to), apply the tape, peel off the plastic, and BOOM! I used it to hang a picture on the wall, which in hindsight I regret. I say that because I changed my mind and when I went to pull it off of the wall, it took the paint with it. Soooo, I had to get out the drywall repair kit 🙄 and it was a whole thing. So make sure whatever you want to stick is where you really want it. I think it’s a great value since you get so much, and you can use it for a multitude of things; holding down rugs, hanging things to walls inside, or out, etc. it’s a great thing to have, just in case. Oh, and it will stick to just about anything, and it will stay stuck there basically forever. Enjoy!

This mounting tape holds very firmly and does exactly what it is supposed to do. The quality feels strong and reliable, and it works well for mounting items without any issues. I would definitely use it again.

The tape is strong, just not strong enough like other Gorilla products that I am familiar with. It is easy to cut, and has fast adhesion, but it is too easy to remove. It can hold about 7 Lbs of vertical weight over a smooth, non-porous surface. However, most homes do not have a smooth drywall surface, there are always slight imperfections. I wanted to hold cable/wire channels upside down in my multimedia center, and the drywall has flat textures. This thing would not hold until I applied a slight coat of isopropyl to melt the glue while I held it in place for a few seconds until it dried. In my experience, it does not hold vertical weight (ceiling drop) greater than 8oz Overall, this is an easy-to-use product that will do the job. Do not use it on a glass surface or smooth marble or granite, you will regret it! It will stick strongly, and you might need to use a sharp blade to scrape the leftovers after removing.

The guts inside the box for the ENDFED HALF WAVE Antenna were rattling around. Apparently, It got dropped. Needed some very heavy duty double sided tape. This fixed the situation.

Strong Enough to Question My Life Choices So, I bought the Gorilla Double-Sided Mounting Tape because I was tired of using nails, hammers, and the emotional trauma that comes with hanging anything on my walls. This tape claimed it could hold basically everything except my hopes and dreams—so naturally, I had to try it. Strength: Let me put it this way: once this tape sticks to something, it forms a lifelong bond stronger than most relationships I’ve seen. I mounted a small shelf, and it’s holding on like it’s clinging to the edge of a cliff in an action movie. Application: Easy enough… until you misplace the item by half an inch. Then you realize you’ve created a permanent art installation called “Slightly Crooked.” Removing it becomes a spiritual journey. Stretchability? Eh I’m not stretchable either so who am I to judge. (They only thing I would truly recommend clean the surface before applying…..that’s a different story for a different time how I found that one out) Aesthetics: Looks like tape. But invisible once everything is stuck, which is great—because the world doesn’t need to know how many of my projects are held together by excessive optimism and adhesive. Downsides: Getting it off the roll requires the same determination as opening a jar you swore wasn’t tightened that much. If you stick something in the wrong spot, just accept it. That’s where it lives now. Forever. Upsides: Holds like a gorilla is personally hugging the object to the wall. No tools, no holes, no judgment (well, maybe a little judgment when you try to remove it). Overall: Solid tape. Slightly terrifying. Does exactly what it promises—sometimes a little too well. (Will pull paint off walls) Would I buy it again? Yes. But only after I make sure I’m absolutely sure where things are going this time.
