8 Pieces Nylon Repair Patches Self-Adhesive Nylon Patch Waterproof Repair Patches for Clothing Down Jacket Tent Clothes Bag

Have an electric coat and needed the patch to cover where the battery is as it began to wear out. Product was very easy to apply and appears to be strong. The adhesive appeared to not be as strong as it could be, but in all fairness, it could be that I didn't apply it properly, which is why I am withholding judgement. If it doesn't hold, I will update this review. My only complaint is it comes with too many pieces that I likely will never use. So, my suggestion would be to sell smaller amounts, however this is no big deal. I just hate to waste things.

Good on some items but not slippers

Bought this to patch my winter jacket, only noticeable when I point it out. I forget that I have it on my jacket sometimes. The thread in it frays about around where you cut it, but it looks like a design flaw of the jacket, people won’t think it’s because your jacket is patched. Should come in other colors.

I bought this to fix a small cut on my winter jacket. It was very easy to do. I like it.

Product blends in with existing material very well!! Unfortunately the adhesive is not very strong and wont be able to stick very long to activewear.

My rain pants are 10 years old and have a rip in the knee. They have deep pockets and a long inseam, so I haven't found a new pair to replace them. I tried to mend the tear using one of those patch kits that come with an inflatable mattress. Didn't work. I used some black "primate" duct tape. Didn't work. During a hard rain, water would work its way through the knee area, drip down my leg, and make my boot soggy. Bought these cloth patches and applied a piece to the inside knee area on top of the white liner. Also applied some patches higher up near the crotch area. Those are less important since my jacket covers that area and rain doesn't penetrate. I also added a patch to the outside knee area which is hardly visible since my rain pants are black. Walked for 2 miles in the hard rain. No leaks. Waited a week and walked another 2 miles in the rain. No leaks. Patches have not peeled away from the inside liner or the outside rain pants fabric. I rounded the corners when I cut out the bigger pieces to prevent peeling. Patches are very flexible and adhere really well. I'm impressed and like that I can cut the patches into whatever shape I need. I don't wash these pants in the machine. I just wear them over my regular trousers or leggings. If they get muddy, I use a damp sponge to clean them off. I'll be patching a small tear in my backpack next.

Not at all waterproof. Patch lifted off immediately when it was wetted.

I use these to repair my waterproofs around the knee area as I work in them.Easy to use, great adhesion.I can even oversew the edges on a sewing machine once applied.Really good.
