I love this trash can. Our son has one and I kept thinking about it, but I worried about having a little less capacity for the regular trash side of it. We had tried other options for recyclables over the years, but nothing was ideal. I also was very tired of how dirty our plastic trash can with the pop open lid would get. So, we decided to get this and I'm so glad we did. Yes, we have to take out the trash a little more often, but it's worth it! Having one unit for both trash and recyclables, step-on opening, soft closing and deodorizer option in the lid is all wonderful! And it's so nice looking!! This was a great decision!!
