Looks like a Schlage tool, not a Kwikset tool.

Tool is well built and works well in cap removal. No problems on hanging on or maneuvering the tool in any position.

I use this cap removal tool in my locksmith business. It is not for Kwikset deadbolts as the description states. It is for some locks that have a screw on cap holding onto tailpiece. It does not work on Schlage. The seller should make a better description of the tool to help sell this product. It does work well on the right fit lock. I gave it three stars because it's hard to know which locks that works for. I bought it I thought it was going to work for us Schlage locks. It didn't. I did not buy it on Amazon but I did pick up the same price.
