Radio Flyer Glide Ride On = Success!
My 18 month old is quite the daredevil and insists on riding his 5 year old brother's scooter. He isn't too successful with the Razor yet, so we decided to get him this nice Radio Flyer Ride 2 Glide Ride On toy as a way to transition him to a scooter eventually. This toy was rather easy to put together, but I would not recommend putting it together in the wee hours of Christmas as a gift from Santa! My husband had no problems putting it together, except for the hour he spent trying to put the handle bars on. This was at no fault of Radio Flyer's directions. My husband was just too tired (stubborn!) from trying to put it together last minute before Christmas (hence my recommendation for not waiting until Christmas to put it together!). At this point, he forgot to add the basket....and then tried to NOT add the basket. Anyways, I digress, back to the review! On Christmas morning, my 18 month old awoke and found this beautiful Radio Flyer ride on toy (with basket attached ;) ) waiting for him. He took to it immediately and really enjoys playing with it on a regulary basis. It is very easy for us to transition from Ride On to Scooter. I think that this will last us for a while until he is ready to take over his big brother's razor! Radio Flyer means quality!

Best. Ride-on. Ever.
My spoiled rotten kids have every toy under the sun. We have probably had 3 or 4 different ride-on toys. But this. This is the holy grail of toddler toys. My youngest LOVES this thing. She is always zooming around the house on it. If I need her to run off and occupy herself for a while so I can get something done, all I have to say is "hey why don't you go ride your scooter?" And she's off! I wish we had this for my youngest when she was young enough to use it. We haven't really used it as a scooter, but as a ride on, this is amazing.

Great product
Fabulous scooter/ride on! My kiddo is 18 months and he is a little tall to ride on it. (granted he is the size of an average 3 year old) However he rides and glides inside and outside. He LOVESSSSS it! We can't walk out of the house without it.I recommend assembling it before you present to the child. It took some focusing on the proper construction. Didn't take long to assemble. It is mostly plastic construction however it is VERY sturdy. My son and his friend have the same one and they play bumper cars with them sometimes. Not a single crack or flaw. Great product!

not worth the money
The seat is very small and this did tip over forwards when my 1 1/2 year old grandson reached to get something. Not as sturdy as it should be. But he did seem to like it. There are other little riding trains, etc. that are built better than this. I would not buy it again.

Hard to steer! No fun to ride!
Regret buying this. It does not steer well at all! And there's no way to adjust it. My toddler can't even ride it because it's so hard to steer. And unfortunately we put The box out in the recycling which was picked up the next day. Disappointing since we own other Radio Flyer brand items. I just went & spent the money for a balance bike, which worked so much better & my 2 yr old loves!

Good scooter that requires no balance
This is a cute idea. It is a little low for my 2 year old to sit on but I mainly bought it for the scooter function. This is fun for her to ride around with her brothers without having to balance on a regular scooter. Definitely a worthwhile riding toy and popular among the other kids (ages 2-5) up and down the street.

Good Unit, but Steering could have been designed/built better.
Nice unit, however the steering is whonky. The main shaft twists about a full 1/4 turn before turning the wheels. Wouldn't be a big deal, however that means it has to be turned a good 2-3 inches before it turns the unit. Our daughter still likes it but, as an engineer, I feel the main steering could have been constructed better. Overall, it's an OK unit.

Another quality product by Radio Flyer
Love Radio Flyer's products, so was excited to see this convert for my toddler since he wants to be like his big sis and bro and ride a scooter outside. It did take some time to put together and needed a wrench, sledge hammer and screw driver, but my 11 year old was putting it together...If an adult was, maybe it would of taken less time. Good quality product that will last for many years!
