Seems solid, looks impressive.
I recently installed the Evil Catch Can on my 2006 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab with the LM7 5.3L V8 (311,000 miles on the clock), and I have to say this is an outstanding product. The build quality is solid, the fittings are secure, and the installation process was straightforward. Immediately, I could see the value in running one of these, especially on a higher-mileage engine like mine where crankcase vapors are more of a concern. What really stands out is how effective it is at trapping oil and contaminants that would otherwise end up recirculating through the intake. That’s critical for keeping carbon buildup down, maintaining throttle body cleanliness, and ultimately extending the life of the engine. I plan on installing a second unit so that each bank of my V8 is covered. To me, this makes perfect sense, since both sides of the engine generate blow-by gasses. It honestly baffles me why so many installs I see only utilize a single catch can on the driver’s side. Having one on both sides feels like the most complete way to protect the motor, especially as the miles rack up. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. For anyone running an LS-based motor, whether stock or with miles like mine, I’d strongly recommend the Evil Catch Can setup. It’s a small investment that pays off in cleaner internals and added peace of mind.

Tough little can thats well worth it!
Great little catch can! Super effective for my truck, so much so I just got a larger one from evil energy. Once you figure out where to mount it, installation is a breeze! Air tight with no leaks and the goop i get out of it is mind blowing. Super solid build quality. (Pretty sure itll still be around long after my trucks end) Love evil energy products! Have never had an issue with anything from them, ever.

Installed Drain Valve on
This would get 5 stars if not for the small modification I did to add a drain valve to the bottom of the can. Since the can is smaller than some on the market, you may be emptying this one more than others. And since it has to screw off to be emptied, the o-ring will likely wear out sooner. So the way I avoided having to remove the canister every time was by adding a small valve at the bottom. It’s just a simple drain valve for an air compressor tank that I purchased at Lowe’s. It even already had thread sealer on it so all I did was drill a 1/2” hole and twist it in with a 5/8” wrench. The threads sit slightly above the bottom of the can so it will only be about 95% emptied unless I take the canister off. But since I can quickly empty the tank by turning the valve I should only have to remove the canister occasionally to remove any sludge from the bottom. As for the can itself, it’s very well-made and very simple. I cut the included steel wool in half - used 1/2 for the inlet line and dropped the other 1/2 into the can to prevent the oil from sloshing around as much. The can could also benefit from having a shield or baffle over the outlet hole on the inside. But as long as it doesn’t get about 80-90% full that shouldn’t ever be an issue. Hard to beat the price!

Surprisingly high quality for the price – excellent 300ml catch can
I don’t often leave reviews on Amazon, and this is the first time I’ve touched photos, but this is really just to quash some of the reviews I’ve seen where people saying, you know, the quality of this isn’t great. It, to me, for the money, it’s crazily good. It’s a piece of aluminium billet. It’s beautifully engineered. It feels really nice to screw the cap back in and out. Everything’s tight. You can even see the machining marks on it. It looks really, really good. I think the only thing to a couple of the reviews have been negative on quality, might that have been related to the vacuum nipples and the little bracket that sits behind it, and it goes on to probably not quite matching the quality of the actual can itself, but that said, for the money, I can’t believe the quality of this, and I’ve seen other things that are significantly more. I’m very, very pleased with it, and I am fussy, and very, very happy with it, and if you’re thinking about a catch can and perhaps you don’t want to spend as much money as Moroso or another brand, I think this one, for a 300ml catch can, is a really good buy, and would definitely buy these Evil Energy products again after this. Yeah, I think this represents value and quality, and for the price, I just don’t think I can fault it.

Well made and looks great
I had no idea what to expect when I got this. When I opened the package I immediately thought it was way too small for my truck but this does the job well. The can is constructed well and the added bracket worked great. I’m not using this as a primary, this is a secondary in a compound boosted application. My crankcase pressure was getting too high and popping my rear main seal. 5.9 Cummins problems

Install for 2017 Honda Pilot and Ridgeline
Great Product. Some sharp edges, but very nice quality. Cut dogleg off supplied aluminum bracket with a hacksaw and bend at a 90 as shown. Mount to frame as shown with Honda bolt, then drill hole in bracket and car frame for second stability sheet metal screw (not supplied) Engine cover still comes off nicely. Engine dipstick and radiator reservoir 100% accessible. Hood prop clears oil can nicely and dip stick is easy to reach as is can bottom to spin off for maintenance. All hoses are relaxed with no pinch points. This method keeps original PCV hose in tact for quick removal in case of warranty work. O rings supplied are a little small, difficult to get over threaded fitting but they work. Be careful not to over tighten fittings or you'll damage the O rings. The coalescing steel wool supplied is plentiful, enough to change out 3 times. Overall a fun install. Highly recommended!

Nice oil catch can.
Evil Energy makes good products. Very nice machine work on this oil catch can. I would give it 5 stars, but Amazon sent me a used/returned product and charged my full price.

Great product, it will really help the longevity of my truck's engine. I just bought my truck and want to keep it in as good of condition as possible. Catching all of the blow by in the catch can, versus allowing it to go directly back into my engine will be a huge help! Evil Energy did a great job on this catch can and the pricing is very reasonable. The only issue I had with the installation was they only provide 2 hose clamps, when I really wanted 4. The factory uses hard plastic tubing to connect the Pollution Control Valve (PCV) to the inlet on the intake manifold. They obviously heat mold this tube on and fits extremely tightly onto the barbs of the fittings, as such, there are no hose clamps on these fittings. However, I never trust that an after market rubber hose pressed onto the fittings may not come loose and want the added security of hose clamps. Further, Evil Energy provided 3/8" hose but my vehicle required use of the 1/2" fittings they provided - but they did not provide any 1/2" hosing. This meant a trip to the automotive store for supplies - after I had my truck apart. Lesson learned - always make sure you have all parts and supplies needed before beginning the project. I still rate the product highly, I just think Evil Energy needed to include those extra items and just charge an extra few dollars to offset the cost. It would have saved me time, hassle and an extra $15 in parts at the automotive store. Every vehicle with a turbo definitely should have a catch can. Ordinary engines will also benefit from one too.

As I said in a previous review. The catch can is really well made. But, for my 2015 Ram 5.7, the fittings and hose are the wrong size. I had to spend $40 Canadian for the right ones. I emailed the company for the sizes, they never got back to me.
