I'm qualified to write a review here, because I've bought this twice for the same car! I first bought the "carbon-fiber" a couple of years ago. It looked good and was a good fit, but I became aware of a wood-look wrap that I purchased recently. This was total garbage - the look was OK, but the pieces were poorly sized making it look obvious that it was a wrap.So then I ripped that off (and beware - this removed some of the shiny black piano finish around the cup-holders :-( ) and got the matte finish of this product. It's an almost perfect fit. As others have said, the center piece could be a couple of mm wider (but then so could the Tesla cover on to which it attaches). Others have complained that pieces rub against each other when closing. Not so in my case - I think the key is to first install the cup holder piece, then the top piece, aligning the bottoms. Then put in the middle piece ensuring it doesnt scrape at top or bottom. I also suggest using an XActo knife to pry the backing off the tape - it's really fiddly to use finger nails.The matte look is perfect. The color matches the seats and leather center console perfectly. It looks so much better than the shiny native finish. Could not recommend more highly.

This is Not a sticker, this is ABS material, a plate if you will. The fitment is ok , not perfect. I started by placing all the pieces in place as a dry run so to speak. I peeled the center piece first, then the cup holder piece next and checked for opening of the center door , no issues. Next I did a dry run of the top piece. If placed in the proper position it made contact with the center door and caused a bit of a issue opening that door , if placed slightly higher, the center door opens as it should but the top part of the top door hits high and would not open. To make this work I shaved off about a 1/32 of an inch from the top ( you can’t see this part anyway) and it fit ok and allowed both doors to open freely. If you’re looking for something to cover every square inch of the center console, this product is probably not for you. It looks good, has a good, slightly rubbery feel and seems to not attract dust like the piano black . If you want Full coverage (every single inch), you should look for a sticker , there are many available out there. I’m not displeased about it. I had one before and had issues with exact fitment . My guess is they are produced quickly and quality control is not a top priority.

Looks good, but not quite perfect fit. The portion of this ABS 3M tape adhered cover was about 2.5mm too long and caused the console to hang up when trying to open the phone pad portion. It was an easy fix for me since it takes a lot to cause me to not want to tinker. I took a file to the leading edge and filed it down about 1.5mm so that the two covers would not touch anymore and hang each other up preventing proper functionality. The portion that covers the cup holder area was perfectly cut and required no modification.When installing be sure to clean the console with rubbing alcohol to clean/prep it for the 3M tape. DO NOT PRESS DOWN WITH ANY FORCE UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO PLACE IT PERMANATELY. You can position this cover as long as you don't apply any pressure to it and try to touch very little of the tape's surface area to the factory console. Once it's down, you will likely break it trying to realign it so take your time, no need to hurry.

Line it up carefully then stick. Looks just like the product picture.

This makes a dramatic improvement over the stock "piano" finish of the center console. It is much better than a thin wrap and actually has folds on the end which fit perfectly. However, the adhesion could be a little better and time will tell how long it stays applied. Also, the middle piece is sized a tiny bit smaller widthwise than the other two pieces and looks off when you look at all three. They should have made it about an eight of an inch wider. Otherwise, I'm very happy with how it looks !

I disliked the shiny panels that came standard in my model 3 and decided to either wrap or find something to put on them. These offered an option of just being placed on top, but unless you have the patience and precision of a surgeon you are going to be trying to place them just right for awhile. If you don’t the panels won’t close or open if too far back. The tape on the back that adheres the panels to the console could also be a little wider because if you have”big man hands” as my wife calls mine it is challenging to get the plastic off.
