Great little Smart Socket which we have used in an extension cord for a floor fan. The socket does not obstruct the next socket in the extension which is great as you don’t loose any sockets.I found it easy to connect to my Amazon Echo device and once installed it can even be un-plugged and moved around the house and it still works as long as the wi-fi connection is available.You can also change the sockets name within the Alexa app which is very useful if you use several as it makes operating a specific one easier. We’ve called ours “Fan” so we ask alexa “ Alexa, will you start the fan please” (our little ‘nod’ to The Crystal Maze’)

I bought this plug without realising that I'd bought one previously.The last one I bought got returned (not sure if its the same vendor or not) and this latest one is also being returned.I have no issue with the plug, it looks like any other smart plug (smaller than usual though) but, try as I might, I just can't get it to install.I downloaded the app, I followed the instructions and... Nothing.I run a dual band wire mesh WiFi system and have smart plugs, bulbs, speakers and a door bell all working perfectly. There are no issues with my setup nor my ability to pair a smart plug, it just won't work.I'm not bright enough to know why it won't pair and don't want to slate the product just because it didn't work for me. I wouldnt buy one again, for obvious reasons, but if you're on a budget, give it a spin, why not?

The media could not be loaded.  Worked with Alexa perfectly, easy to setup via the instructions provided with the smart socket, makes turning things on and off a breeze with an Alexa.

Does not not work and I believe this is fake! The booklet that comes with it aswell as the Amazon description page all go on about an indicator light which is used as part of the set up process. Except there isn't one... There is no indication light. The photos make it look as if the power button should be the light but as you can see in my images it is opaque. Trouble shooting this product you will find almost no information online. Google the company sapailing, you will find no website to cross check products and specifications, only amazon and a couple of useless youtube videos. Google SWA9 (model no.) you will see the same product and even photos by another company called ziglint. This is dodgy stuff please avoid. Im going to break it open and see whats inside, await my next review.

Wouldn't work at all tried many different times and nothing. Don't waste your money

The title said it all.Worked fine for just over a month, then died.It was very easy to install and worked great with all my Alexa devices. So no problems with using it.But it died somewhere around 5 weeks. Tried it a few times to make sure it wasn't a hiccup, but no! it is completely dead.I shall stick to other makes in future as I have got some that have been going for years now without a problem.
