5 Year Diary

In addition to being able to enter a short daily entry, there is space for books read, places traveled, and highlights.

I love the concept, and it's helped me journal my summaries of the day. I'm also using it as a baby memory book, too. Love the cloth cover and the red ribbon bookmark. This would make for a great gift for a new couple, new parents, or just if you like to journal!Downside is that it's pretty small, and there's not a lot of room to write very much.

I am so pleased with this journal. It is exactly what I was searching for without realizing it actually existed. I just wanted a 365 page journal to create my own many-year journal. This has been perfect and I look forward to filling it year after year. It’s not a place to dump your daily thoughts but it’s a good place to keep track of fun memories, significant events, and epiphanies!

I like this diary a lot. I can basically confirm what other reviewers have noted; the space given for each entry is small, just a few lines, but for me this is perfect because I don't feel pressured to write a ton every day. I actually keep two diaries, this one and a notebook where I can write more when I feel up to it. I agree that the spine is a little bit stiff when you're first using the diary but I found that with a little force it loosened up nicely (aka I kept pushing back the pages until I they were able to lay flat). That white thing you see in the photo on the front of the diary isn't really intended to be part of the design (I don't think) because it's not attached to the book. It's more like part of the packaging which is fine by me because I travel a lot and I know that white sleeve would get very dirty as my diary is thrown from bag to bag!

I've had one of these 5-year diaries myself for a few months, and they've become my go-to gift item for any occasion. Great for a engagement/wedding shower gift, a new-parent gift, a graduation gift, a milestone birthday gift, I even recently gave one as a gift when a friend was diagnosed with a chronic disease to help her process and record her life as it changes. Everyone is always intrigued and excited to try it out, and because there's only room for a few sentences every day, it's an extremely accessible and low-commitment start to journaling if you've never tried before. I recommend keeping it by your bedside with a pen, and using it right before going to sleep.

It's really a great journal! There are 5 lines for each day and an entire page has one date on it and then you just write in the year! It is quite durable and though the cloth does get dirty. Nice size for travel. The little place holder ribbon is nice. All in all the binding holds up quite well and I've had mine for about a year.

I have given these as gifts and always keep one going for myself for about eight years now. Only wish I had begun writing in these diaries much earlier. They are not only lovely to look at on your desk or shelf, but also entirely pleasant to write in daily. Editing thoughts into only six lines is a good project in itself. There is a great deal of fine attention to detail both inside and on the cover of the diary. The end pages where one jots down titles of books one is reading and places to which one has traveled is fine to have later on.

I'm waiting for a year's worth of entries to accumulate so I can see a year into the past when I write about the present.

Sieht gut aus, fühlt sich gut an. Gefällt.Weiche Oberfläche, ohne nachzugeben, kein Text auf dem Cover. Dickeres Papier innen - sehr schlicht, pragmatisch mit Platz (siehe Foto), ein bisschen sperrig beim Aufklappen, bleibt auch auch nicht allein offen - ist aber auch erst grad 3min bei mir. 😜Am Ende 7 Seiten 'book log' (Foto2) und eine Seite 'travelogue' sowie einer Weltkarte.

Pros: the small, portable size; the plain, minimalist cover and overall design (I love that it doesn't have a big "MY DIARY" title on the cover or spine); the bookmark ribbon; pages that make the best use of a small writing space per page (especially when compared to other 5-year journals I've seen); a reading/book and travel log. Makes a great gift!Cons: the fabric-like cover can get a bit dirty after 5 years, especially if you do a lot of travel with it (I was admittedly very rough on mine, having brought it along on multiple backpacking trips over the 5 years)That having been said, this is BY FAR my favourite 5-year journal out there & I think that the pros greatly outweigh the cons. I have just filled my first journal from this same company, and didn't hesitate to buy another for my next 5 years!

Ich bin mit meinem 5-Jahres-Tagebuch im dritten Jahr. Es ist großartig. Ich bin dem glücklichen Zufall sehr dankbar, der mich damals nach so einem Tagebuch hat suchen und dieses hat finden lassen.Nur die Zeilen sind etwas groß. Ich schreibe sehr klein und fülle deshalb immer zwei Zeilen in eine. Aber damit kann man sich arrangieren.Aufpassen, wenn man das Buch wirklich immer bei jeder Reise dabei haben will, bedarf es Schutz. Obwohl ihm die Patina hervorragend steht, wird man bei regem Transport wahrscheinlich ohne extra Schutz nicht ganz auskommen. Ich nutze eine Kunststoffbox, kann aber auch einen Ledereinband empfehlen.

L'agenda è carina e compatta, qualche difetto nella copertura esterna che è di tela ma non è perfettamente incollata (ha qualche "ruga"). Ogni pagina ha 5 caselle (una per ogni anno) da 6 righe, con l'anno da compilare.
