NOW THIS ONE IS FUN!
After recently moving, all except some of my Dancing Exercise DVD Programs got packed away. So to compensate I either had to find them, use my Exercise Bike, go out Walking or buy some more programs. In fairness I have a lot of programs and some of them I really like. However most of them are either tedious or strenuous and yes, even boring. This is not to say that I don't or can't use them.I would bet that there isn't a kind of exercise that I haven't heard of. And most of them I have even tried, mainly Dance Programs. To name a few: Bellydancing, Salsa, Ballroom Dancing and Zuumba too. Throw in Walk Programs, Strength Training Programs and Other Aerobics Programs and that will sum up the kinds of Exercise Programs I've used over the past Thirty-Five Plus Years. The programs have been with Popular Instructors like: Jane Fonda, Kathy Smith, and Tamilee Webb, and others.I got into some physical trouble some years ago when my daily routine changed and I couldn't exercise the way I wanted to. When I worked outside my home, I started Walking five days a week during my breaks, and lunch hours. When that changed I was no longer going out Walking as frequently. Plus with less space and less privacy that made things worse. Then a few years back, I accidentally hurt myself which hindered my balance.After I got a bit better I started Dancing again to help with my balance. That was when I got into Zuumba. Then eventually I got back into Strength Programs and Walking Programs with Leslie Sansone. But l noticed that I wasn't as strong and every now and again my bum knee bothers me.I don't remember exactly when I came across this Program: "SMILE & SWAY". I had seen an offer for an Exercise Chair demonstrated on TV. Then I saw the same offer through a mailing that I received. That sent me on a quest to see if I could find a Strength Training Program that I could do sitting down. That was when I came across some other Chair Exercising Programs. I kept going through all of the various programs until I saw this one.This one appealed to me. I've already mentioned that I've been through other Dancing Programs so I knew that I wouldn't have an issue with following the instructions. This is a fun enjoyable aerobics program used sitting down. I have said this before: I don't like to exercise. I would rather be somewhere else doing something else. But for me, it's a necessity. I feel and look better when I exercise. I have incorporated this program in with using my Exercise Bike and Strength Training. I Cycle first. Then I go on to "Smile & Sway". Then I move on to Strength Training. I use this Program about three times a week. I've had this program for nearly or about Three Weeks. I tried but was unsuccessful at getting my Husband to continue with this program. He did it four times and stopped. I guess I can be added to the very long list of frustrated Wives whose Husbands won't exercise, no matter what kind of Exercise she suggest.But for me, I like this program very much, and yes I would definitely suggest it to anyone who don't want a strenuous program. And something that is gentler and kinder on the knees. And to anyone who wants more upper body work, all they have to do is continue to move their arms instead of placing their hands at their hips through the various tracks. That's what I do. Also I don't stop moving between the tracks. I just can't stop moving while I'm using this Program. IT'S GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!

A fun (musical) seated workout
This dvd lives up to what I was hoping for which was movement to music, seated dancing and a bit of fun for me is that it 's an Australian production. The exercises are done to different types of dance music.It is reasonably brisk with the movements , I've just watched it without doing the exercises to learn a bit of what goes on before attempting the programme.One disappointment is that this would appeal to many older people but the participants are mostly young. There is an older man clearly in the picture and he was highlighted a couple of times but it was only at the very end I realised there was one older woman up the back , she didn't get any camera time.I think a 2nd older woman would be beneficial and that she be clearly seen.I'm very happy with it, it's a low key yet professional presentation and the disc arrived in excellent condition.

Wonderful! Fun! Effective!
Being a senior citizen, I have been isolating in my home as much as possible. I decided I had to give up going to the YMCA doing water aerobics in April because of too many infection possibilities at the Y. I needed an alternative exercise program to water aerobics and decided I needed to start chair aerobics at home. Having mobility issues, chair aerobics was my only alternative. I have been collecting chair aerobics dvds to use for exercise and was thrilled when I viewed this Smile & Sway chair aerobics dvd. It makes exercise fun because the instructor, Gina Buber, makes you move by dancing the exercises with great music. The moves are easy and simple to follow. I love this dvd and will purchase more of them to give to my friends for gifts. Great instructor, Fun Exercises and Great Music-who could beat this combination!

I do alot of chair exercises...this one is my favorites ..wish she would make another cd..would buy it

Fun, Get You Moving, Chair Dancing Video
I'm a bit older and my balance is not the best, so I'm cautious about falling.This video has me dancing and moving my entire body, with no fear of falling.Great music and clear movements, lots of different music styles.Leaves me feeling up beat (pun intended)

Really fun but I would have liked a couple of additional workouts
Okay, it says one workout on the front of the package. So they did their part, I just missed it and was very surprised to find that there is only one 40 minute workout on this CD. Forty minutes works nicely for me ....... but I have never seen that before. You'd think they'd at least give you a couple of separate workouts. I mean come on! Maybe that's why it is $14.99 instead of a higher price. It is a fun workout for those of us who are not able to do a standing workout, for whatever reason. (I broke my toe.) So buy it if you feel okay paying for a one 40 minute workout. It is fun!

A little too much for our seniors in their 70's and 80's
Although the music is great and our seniors may stay seated through it, most of the songs with accompanying hand movements were a little too fast and intricate for our seniors (most are in their 70's and 80's). We have been able to single out a few slower selections, but have not tried them as yet.

Best low impact fun video!
This is a perfect workout and Gina is such a caring person. The music is wonderful and even though you are in a chair you still get a great aerobic workout. Since I have been recovering from Achilles tendonitis for the past year I needed something that would not aggravate this. This video really saved me! I have tried others but this is perfect. Please listen to the helpful instructions Gina gives and sit at the edge of your chair. I have found that a pillow behind me when doing this helps me sit straight and is not a strain on my back. Try it and see for yourself. There is no other workout like it. Please make another one soon! Thank you for your smile Gina!

The Choregraphy Routines are Fantastic
I've only just bought this dvd in the week, and I practiced with it on Friday, the choregraphy for chair dancing is excellent , and fantastic. This is a much better whole programme dvd of Smile and Sway, much better than a dvd section of chair fitness I already owe.I'll be looking forward to working out with Smile and Sway dvd, certainly twice, if not once a day, and also to help me prepare to feel more fitter and more toned up in time for my various non paid work as and when required. I never know when i am going to be non paid working, I always gain some more opportunities for doing Smile and Sway, when I am at home, and certainly not after non paid working, I am very tired. Overall, this is a excellent dvd of Smile and Sway,Thanks very much.Hello,I am now starting to prepare for my non paid work by getting dancing in my chair fitness dvd done, and will be on a weekly basis.I also do normal standing workouts, where however I am unable for logistics reasons, I do my chair workouts instead as a alternative way to do fitness workouts.i aiming to workout to this dvd, every other day, and preferably in the evening, or during a afternoon.The music is fantastic, the choreography for the dances in my chair are well choregraphed and excellent quality and variety of routines.Thanks very much.Judith.

88 year old Dad loves it
Bought it for my Dad who’s tea dancing sessions have stopped during lockdown and now due to arthritis in his knee he become a bit immobile.this dvd has got him moving in his chair and he’s now walking every day and is generally more mobile. It helps to be a bit co ordinated. He likes the smiley presenter , the music and switchers his age moving to the music. He feels more confident got back to his dance sessions which start again ina few weeks

You CAN teach an old dog new tricks!
I was so completely thrilled with the other SMILE workouts I bought this even though I'm not really up for seated exercises yet. In comparison with the other workouts this is really quite gentle, but even so I worked up a bit of a sweat and the usual sense of well being having completed it. On the whole I think I will save it for days when I am genuinely not up for anything more challenging, and/or when I'm about ten years older. In the meantime...yayyyy!!!!!!! at 62 I have discovered that there are some physical challenges I still find easy (though to be fair I may have found this one more difficult if I had not been thoroughly inducted by the other three workouts!

We have watched a few minutes and this looks great when she feels better she said she can't wait ...
Wow watched a few minutes of it to see if my mum could do these as she suffers from dead nerve endings in her legs and also suffers from osteoarthritis, she is also getting over breast cancer and that's been a year so far and as she can't move about as much as she used to she has put some weight on. We have watched a few minutes and this looks great when she feels better she said she can't wait to get started it looks amazing that I have decided to take part in this with mum so thanks for this amazing dvd give yourself a pat on the back 😊 thanks again 😘 and a fab delivery from Amazon as always.☺
