Great product
This is a great mouthpiece for my 8 year old daughter. She uses it for lacrosse games. It's important to properly mold it as per instructions. If not molded, the mouthpiece won't fit. When molded, it fits Great!

Fit my 12 yr old perfect
I got the adult mouthguard for my 12 yr old son who also has a pretty big overbite for flag football. I don't know how it would fit an adult mouth. The child one I had to return as it was probably for a 3 yr old up to maybe 6 max. I did have to have my son go through the process twice so it would stay on. Make sure you use a spoon to keep the mouthguard submerged as it wants to float. Make sure when you are biting down you really push on the sides of your cheeks in the rear as the rear of the guard tends to want to flare outwards when it's soft from the water. It will not fit all the molars, just the first few. This guard really is only for sports as its not comforatable to wear as a nightguard or anything. This is an impact mouthguard for sports only. Works great for my son and stays on and pops off pretty easy.

Solid product
I ordered this product for roller derby and it’s been working great so far. It was easy to mold; I messed up a couple of times so I had to reheat it a couple of times. It remolded just fine. I’ve taken quite a few hits and have fallen in derby. It stays in and all my teeth are still in tact. The only down side is that it feels big. I do have a smaller mouth but there was only one size to pick from. Otherwise, I like it!

Best Sleeping/Night Guard I've Ever Used
This review is from the perspective of a nighttime user, not an athlete. As a disclaimer, Shock Doctor does state that this product is not intended for overnight use.I've been grinding and clenching my teeth for about 15 years. I've done it so badly that I've caused fracturing and chipping on my teeth and have even ground right through fillings (not cheap!). In that time, I've tried about a dozen different types of night guards, ranging from the cheapest OTC ones to the $500 laser-fitted prescription guards. None of them have worked -- I either grind right through the material or I still clench so hard that I wake up with jaw pain and a headache.Who would've thought that an inexpensive sports mouth guard would be my savior. It's really unbelievable how much this has improved my sleep and overall quality of life! The gel-like mold acts like a cushion to absorb the pressure from my clenching, yet it's still firm enough to stop me from grinding. That cushion effect is the real game-changer; if you're a clencher, this is what you've been needing. It's true that it's a little bulky, but I've found that even though my mouth stays open a bit, absolutely no drool comes out. That was always a problem with past guards, so I like that!As a tip, I recommend running the front of it under water right before popping it in at night. It helps to get the front piece to fit comfortably under your top lip. And, of course, you want to rinse It every morning and wash it with a gentle soap once or twice a week.Bottom line: If you're suffering, you have to try this. For this price, it's worth a shot. I hope that you have the same outcome I have had.

Not worth the price
Just this product because I wanted it until I see the dentist in a couple of months to get a mouthguard. Been grinding my teeth and wanted to get a cheap mouthguard until I had some dental work done and then get a custom mouthguard done by the dentist first of all, I went to put it in my mouth. It was so small that it look like it was a child’s mouthguard, yet it said adult on the package, secondly, I tried a couple of times even stretching it out with my hands, and when I could get it in my mouth and it would not stay there it was just fall out. There was no friction to hold it whatsoever. My last chance I had with it I actually put it in a microwave with some water boil the water got it really hot and pliable. I was able to make it larger by doing that Without stretching it too much put it in my mouth and now it was just falling out. It was cool by the time I took it out of my mouth so it was basically useless. I threw it in the trashcan and I got a feeling that’s what most people are going to do with it total garbage I could’ve returned it, but after putting it in my mouth, I decided I wasn’t going to go through all that not for the 13 $14. I paid for it to something else is my best recommendation.

Perfect for jiu jitsu
My son and I both train jiu jitsu and as a jiu jitsu mom I want my son’s teeth well protected. Our teeth are a bit on the taller side and these mouth guards are perfect for us. After about a year my son’s mouth got bigger and we had to get another. We went with the same one we got before we liked it so much. Protects your teeth very well and is very comfortable to wear.

Good fitting mouth guard
Works well for my small 11 year old. He doesn't chew on it too bad so he got a season of hockey with it. I would buy again.

Did not work
Followed the instructions to a T and the mouth guard folded into its self as the water began to boil, it became a ball of pink rubber. Did not let the water even get to boiling before this happened. The instructions say if the mouth guard is not done the shape you want to re try steps I allowed the mouth hairs to cool and tried to get it to inform from the mass ball shape it had folded into but nothing. Waste of money

Great
Fit our 7 year old perfectly after we molded it and super easy to mold it if you follow the instructions correctly which were easy to follow

Good conception overall - doesn't not restrict speach or breathing
I like the fact that there is a hole in the middle to help with breathing and talking. Other mouthguards I had in the past made it hard to breath/swallow/speak but it seems this one has a much better conception. Easy to mold and re-mold if necessary and it stays in place and does a good job to protect your jaw. I've been told Shock doctor provides a dental warranty with all their mouthguards but I couldn't find the details... But if so, it is definitely an added value. The only negative point is that it does feel very bulky in my mouth.

We did use this company before and it was fine but this time our kid chewed through it within a month.

Worst mouth guard I’ve ever used
The designers of this mouth guard need to have their engineers heads examined. The size of this mouth guard is supposed to be for kids. It doesn’t fit at all. I tried following their directions 5 times. It’s deformed and doesn’t fit my daughters mouth. A total waste of time and money. Save yourself a lot of headache and avoid this product.
