KayteeHummingbird ElectroNectar Wild Bird Food, Concentrate, 16 Ounces

I had used another brand of hummingbird nectar last year, and the birds would take a momentary sip & fly off. When I put this brand's nectar in the feeder, the hummingbirds will take a perch and feed for at least 1 minute! I've even had to refill the feeder, which never happened with the old brand. I guess the hummingbirds really like the flavor of this brand!And it's easy to mix up, just add water to the concentrate.

Humming birds love this! They keep on coming for it unlike any other I have purchased before.

The media could not be loaded.  If you see hummingbirds flying around your neighborhood and want to feed them, definitely get this stuff. It may take a little while for the hummingbirds to find your feeder but once they do, they’ll keep coming back as long as you’re using this ElectroNectar. I was a bit skeptical at first but I figured I’d give it a try and I’m definitely going to continue buying it. I have hummingbirds from dawn til dusk, at least one every five to ten minutes, drinking out of my feeder now. They really seem to enjoy it and I did a basic three to one mixture as the instructions say. No problem, no mess, and best of all no boiling water. Just add water and stir for a few seconds and pour it into the feeder and you’re good to go!

Actually, the hummers love it! I love that it is easy to mix, and that I have control of how much concentrate I can use. I did add a tad bit of red food coloring for the first batch, probably to appease myself that the birds would find the feeder. Now I use the nectar as intended and they have no problem finding and drinking it. The Kaytee brand appears to be very good for the hummingbird's health by providing electrolytes that mimic flowers. I used to make my own solution of sugar and water but was concerned that the birds were not getting the best nourishment that they needed, so I'm pleased that Kaytee ElectroNector is filling that requirement!

Take it from someone who is a regular buyer of Kaytee hummer concentrate, smell the nectar before you use it. I put a fresh batch out a week ago and traffic at my feeder has fallen off to almost none of my little friends coming to feed. Normally it’s happy hour… I opened the Kaytee bottle with unused nectar in it and think I found the reason. The smell was slightly sour along with the normal floral scent. No wonder my little visitors are staying only for a sip and then quickly leaving. I just ordered a new bottle and will be checking it before I serve it… you should too!

I usually make my hummingbird nectar but I saw this at the local hardware store and decided to try it instead. And please don't buy the nectar powder that is colored red because the artificial coloring isn't necessary and you are just putting chemicals into their little hummingbird bodies. Definitely try this if you don't want to make your own.

Our go to for hummingbird food. Quite pricey on Amazon so will go back purchasing locally when back in stock.

Did not attract any hummingbirds. Was very expensive and thought it would work better than making my own sugar water.
