We actually bought these for the animals at the zoo. They have all these weird scents like cardboard box, popcorn, bacon, dirt and funeral home. I don't want to smell like any of these things but the animals sure love them! And yes they smell just like they are supposed to!

I was looking for a fragrance that smells like sweet syrupy honey, and bought this after reading multiple great reviews. This smells like a bunch of flowers. I don't smell honey at all. Sucks because now I can't return it.

Really hoping this would have a strong pepper smell like Molton Brown’s pepper soap/skincare line. Was very disappointed to find that it was a light feminine fragrance that only had the slightest hint of pepper after 2-3 minutes of wear. Worse, that tiny hint of pepper was incredibly fleeting, as any hint of fragrance (pepper or otherwise) was gone within 5 minutes or less.

This is my favorite scent so far from Demeter. It is soft and sweet and slightly floral. My biggest complaint is that it is totally undetectable within an hour.

I discovered Demeter Cologne Sprays 3 years ago on a trip to Nashville, TN area in a little gift shop in Franklin, TN. I love how Demeter scents are light and natural. Perfect for daytime or office wear and not overbearing. I am a fan for life. Thanks.

I like this product, it really does smell of freshly ground black pepper and is very zesty and fresh, ideal for the summer, especially in London when you have to travel by Tube, so much nicer than the ubiquitous, sickly vanilla that is so often trotted out.What I didn't like - I bought another scent at the same time which was packed in the same box and I ended up spending exactly the same ridiculous amount in postage - I think that for two products of the same size, postage should have been less.Also, when it arrived the stopper was firmly affixed the bottle so some of the scent leaked - it's not expensive but the postage sure is so this was annoying.

Website description is incorrect. Item overwhelmingly smells like Anise (black licorice) and nobody thought Basil. Don’t make the same mistake buying a fragrance online, as it is claimed to be non-returnable. Buy in a store where you can sample it

The smell is great. Blends well with Demeter's orange &/or clove.
