Works great for deoxidation of electrical contacts. I also use a fiberglass pen....Usually I will use the fiberglass then wipe clean and apply Deoxit for long term protection. For areas where I can't clean with the fiberglass pen, I just use the Deoxit, then connect and disconnect the plugs/headers/receptacles to help remove oxidation. I also use this product on IC sockets and IC chip legs.....Another use I have for this product is cleaning the oxidation off of soldered connections. I will coat the solder with Deoxit, let it sit for a few minutes. Clean the area off with Acetone and then add some fresh solder. After that I am able to desolder the component much easier without overheating the solder pads and components.This product is expensive, but a little goes a long ways. I have the 7.4mL bottle, and got several hundred uses out of that size. I mostly use the Deoxit product on older arcade video games, game pcbs and monitor chassis. With the 59mL larger bottle, I expect it will last years and years.

I restore and renovate old computers and videogame consoles. Deoxit is pink wonder juice. It does wonders for old corroded contacts. I typically use a bit of white vinegar first on crusty components, then rinse with isopropyl alcohol followed by a thorough clean and buff with Deoxit. Clean, shiny and, thanks to the coating left behind by the Deoxit - not going to corrode easily again :)Plus, did I mention that it's pink?

Yes, this is the real stuff. 100% pure DeOxit. not 5% or the other diluted bottles and spray cans. Used by everybody who knows what it takes to clean the last mid century's classis stereo controls with their analog amp switches, rheostats and sliders. Yes it is expensive but the results are amazing!

Quality product. With this I’ve got a very long supply. Only a drop’s worth is needed for a pot. Easy to control than the spray can. Just need to buy a couple of fingernail polish bottles w/ brush.

Perfect for cleaning up electrical contacts such as corroided battery terminals in a camera or radio. Cleaned up the contacts on a portable Amateur Raadio antenna that was causing problems. Followed up with the Deoxit Gold and have had no further issues.

DeOxit Contact Cleaner - expensive, but this bottle will last for YEARS. If you start to run low, you are using too much.This is the real deal, absolutely essential for computer builds, electronic maintenance and repair, anywhere you have metal contacts transferring electricity.
