Square plastic embroidery stretcher (20.3*20.3cm), Other Sewing And Embroidery Supplies

Item arrived quickly and was super quick to put together, literally 30 seconds it is so easy to put my cross stitch aida on it and fasten down with the tabs, I struggle with my cross stitch hoops and get rather frustrated and annoyed so the ease of using this was a welcome relief... the only thing that let's it down is the fact that there are no ridges on either the plastic frame itself or the plastic tabs that slot over the top of the aida so it starts of nice and taut but very quickly the tautness has gone and i find myself twisting the plastic tabs in an attempt to increase the tautness.. this is ok for the 1st maybe even 2nd attempt but then I have to take the plastic tabs off reposition my aida, put the plastic tabs back on and then try again!

Doesn't grip fabric, comes loose constantly, made me look bad, never met something that was so useless for it's purpose in it's life. "hold fabric taut" hrm yeah ok there's nothing taut after 3 mins, it's nothing more than a dust gatherer.40 years of cross stitch and i've never met anything so bad

This is fab for portable tuffting the only thing to consider is that its quite difficult to seperate the clips and the frame. ( I get that it needs to be tight to keep the fabric taught & its new, so may loosen with useage)I suggest you make surre you have fabric under all the clips and leave enough so you can use the fabric to pull which will remove the clipsAppart from that it's great!!

What an amazing bit of kit!!! Will defo be getting more in different sizes!! Don’t be put of by the inexpensive look of it!! It can be a little stiff and awkward to get your work on to the frame but once there It’s lightweight, sturdy, holds my work taught and even if it does loosen just turn the side grips a little, you actually hold the side grips instead of your work which keeps it clean!!!! There is only one downside, the price!!! For what it is it could be a few quid cheaper but besides that 10/10 one happy stitcher!!!!!!!!

Would not recommend you buy so flimsy and so unuseable-if it wasn't lockdown I would have sent it back but I have to isolate

As expected it was easy to assemble and disassemble.

I'm using these frames for bead embroidery. Good little size for bigger pictures

Very good, quick to built but tricky to put the material within the holds, fits my cushion design, very light weight in verbal very pleased
