That's the best compliment I get, Nice Hat.Runs slightly smaller than most XL sized hats, but will fit my big noggin as I have gone to a short sides clipper cut.If you're still blessed with a full head of thick hair, lucky you! But, just know I'd order larger.Hat shapes well once out of box, and looks great. Just keep it in a low dust area as much as possible, preferably in a Hat bag or box.

Since I was 16 years old and for 25 years following, my brown crushable felt fedora style hat and I were inseparable. So many adventures together. Then suddenly it disappeared. It's been gone for years. I saw Oztrala's Outback Fedora and took a chance. It arrived very timely. Taking it out of the box felt like a cautious reunion. Placing it on my head, I almost cried as it felt like embracing a long-lost old friend. The fit was perfect. It was slightly stiff compared to my original very, very well-worn old hat, but that was expected. I still have the old silk scarf that was tied around my old hat and have secured it to its honored place on the new hat. I am pleased with the quality of the hat. The wool is soft and excellent quality. Expect the shipping is going to take awhile since it’s coming from Australia and will need to go through customs. The packaging could have been better as the boxed came crushed and I needed to steam the hat back into shape which is why I reviewed it with 4 stars overall. The fit is accurate so make sure you get a measurement of your head before ordering.

Styling in comfort.

I was a bit nervous about buying a hat online, especially one that was shipped internationally (mostly because sizing, and not wanting to pay to send it back if the sizing wasn't correct). I was absolutely thrilled with what I received. The material was excellent, the fit was great (I have a big head, so this is always a problem with hats haha).I do a lot of hiking and tend to wear cowboy-esk (I.e. with brims all around) hats to avoid the need for sunblock on my face and neck, and this hat will certainly work well for that purpose.Regarding cowboy-esk hats, I don't personally like how I look in cowboy hats, so I've been struggling to find a hat type that would block the sun and also fit my style (I needed something that was not too fancy, not too sporty). I randomly found an Australian-style hat a few years ago by the brand Kakadu. I liked the look of that hat, but it wasn't perfect (mainly I didn't love the color, I didn't like that it was leather, and it was a little tight). After searching for an alternative hat, off and on over the last two years, I randomly found this one. Reviews seemed to be positive, so I gave it a try. I'm extremely happy with it.A lot of people are calling this a fedora. Im not well-versed in hats, but I can at least say that this doesn't remind me of the cringy fedora stereotypes that the internet tends to mock. It's also not a cowboy hat. I think this is possibly an Australian cowboy hat? The part I like is that the front of the brim can be pulled down, and the sides don't flip up (I think you can probably work the hat so they do flip up on the sides like a cowboy hat, but the shape is true to the photo).Pending any unforseen issues with this hat in the future, I found my new go-to hat brand.

I own many high end hats but wanted one that could survive travel. This hat delivered exactly what I was looking for. The shape is really nice. The hat comes slightly rolled in the shipping box but had no negative impact on the shape. The felt weight is medium. Color matched the sample. I wear between a 6 7/8” and size 7” hat. I ordered the medium and did need to put some foam tape under the sweatband. Overall an excellent purchase.

I appreciate the replacement, but when wearing it the top of the hat pops out of its form leaving one side on top of hat deformed, what is the remedy for its deformation on top of hat popping out of form. I love the hat

The hat is GREAT quality, especially for the price! It was well packaged and came uncrushed; they included a cute koala too! My only caveat is to be certain that the hat style is what you really want and to review the measurements carefully. The hats are made in and come from Australia, so returns are virtually impossible. Their customer service is excellent, but do pay attention to the time zone difference and give them at least a day to respond to queries.

The soft felt hat's brim adequately wide enough to provide good sun protection and the size fits perfectly as advertised.

I absolutely love this hat. It is comfortable to wear and the brim is wide enough to shade my face, ears and neck. I get a lot of comments when I wear it.

nice looking, nice texture and feel, casual of wear with your best clobber, but black sash instead of a brown leather would add class.

It is a little too big. Inside band is satiny so no grip. Crown is quite shallow
