IF Electronic Dictionary Bookmark-Italian English

I loved this easy to use helpful dictionary when I was in France. It saved my life in more than one cafe and restaurant. Without it, goodness knows what I would have eaten or drunk!! It is sooooooooooo compact, it fits in my pocket with ease. i know I will use it many many times. A perfect present from my uncle in England. Merci beaucoup tonton Stephen

Bad quality plastic for the price

It's a good present the dictionary is small not enough words for reading a novel for example

I purchased this for my daughter who loves reading but needs a dictionary for some of the bigger words. When I saw the French option included I thought this would be ideal for her. When we received the device we've discovered that it only translates between languages and does not explain what the word means. This should have been made clearer as it is not a dictionary by definition.

Arrived with a screen that was defective. To add insult to injury it never managed a single translation.

great idea, but expensive. Especially when the contrast function does not work. Sent back as not paying this price for faulty goods.

I've been studying French and this translator looked ideal. I thought that I would use it to translate some of the words I couldn't figure out while watching French in Action. Big mistake. At least 50% of the time the word is just not there or the information given is useless. It routinely gives the meaning of a word that's somewhat close in spelling to what you want but of course doesn't help at all. They claim that the content comes from a Collins French dictionary but it must only be a small subset of the content. I don't even use it anymore- I write the words down and then look them up online- Reverso is fantastic and Google translate also works. I would recommend that you use one of their apps rather than this thing. I'd send it back if I was still within the 30-day window.

This item is quite expensive, but I ordered it because it's a really good concept, and I expected (given that it's 2022), it ought to be a pretty useful single-application device. I was so wrong. The keyboard is stiff and unresponsive, the screen hard to read and so old skool that it looks like a Nokia from the 90s. This is junk, don't waste your money: even if it's a bit more awkward, just download a decent dictionary app to your phone and you'll be far better off: cheaper, faster, more entries.
