Great Boots! My Wife Loves Them! They are Extremely Comfortable and Fit and Look Great!

Perfect ankle-high boot, right out of the box. I found the fit to be true. I'm a 10EE, and the boots fit perfectly w/ a very slight margin all around. I took out the original insoles, and put in a slightly thicker pair of gels. It snugged up the fit to exactly where I wanted it, and feel the 9.5EE would have been too tight. Extremely comfortable, without the typical need to break them in. The finish was excellent. Gave the impression of a quality build with a durable synthetic sole that won't slip and doesn't need to be pre-scuffed. When zipped (seems to be a quality zipper), the short shaft was narrow enough to fit boot-cut or straight pants/jeans. Would definitely recommend.

My husband loves them, I searched for the same boots he had for years but just worn out. They are great and fit well.

Well first off, when I opened the box I couldn’t believe how nice they looked, they were beautiful boots. When I tried them on I noticed how easy the zipper worked. But when I walked on my carpet for a test walk I noticed the left boot didn’t want to stay on when I raised my foot, way to loose. The right boot was somewhere between perfect and a tiny big loose. But the left one was so loose I was worried about turning my angle. I think they need to make sure both boots are the same size. It was like the left one was mislabeled.. I really hated to send them back.

These Laredo short boots are EXACTLY what I was looking for! I wanted a more “formal” boot that I could wear with slacks or suits and not have the shaft poke out in the pants. These boots pair well for this purpose, plus they look and feel great! What I like: * STYLE: A more “formal” boot for me (compared to the square toe & casual boots I have). Traditional western style with high heal, subtle stitching and a round toe. The silhouette is slim, so I can even wear with slim jeans without the shaft poking out. The zipper is hidden under a leather cover and is very hidden -especially compared to the elastic of some Chelsea style boots. * COLOR: Nice, dark, brown marble -maybe even some black mixed in. I can pair these with a lot of options. * SIZE: Perfect for me. 12W fits exactly as expected. I’m also impressed that this boot maintains a slender look, although a “wide” size. * COMFORT: Super comfy! Although I do add an arch support for all my shoes/boots, these are seriously comfortable. I just had to adjust to walking with a heal. I can’t believe my big, wide foot fits so well in these pointy-toe boots. * REAL LEATHER * LAREDO / DAN POST BRAND * VALUE: I get lot more bang-for-my-buck. I like the price. What Could Improve: * Although these are real leather, I am concerned with how THIN the leather is. I worry that these may be prone to crease sooner. I also worry that these boots may not be as durable. But I am treating these as “dressy” boots and not work boots. Only 3 months in, but so far, so good. * I wish they had an option to purchase one with a leather sole. But I also understand that that would also increase the cost. The rubber sole on this boot is okay, but it could be “grippier.” * I might cut off the pull strap on top. It’s not needed (these open up with a side zipper) but they tend to get pants hung from them. These boots really did “check all the boxes” I was looking for in a pair of short, leather boots. I love their value! I just gotta take good care of these so I can keep enjoying them!

Great short boot. The leather is amazing and look great with bootcut jeans. Dress them up, or down, either works well.

Excellent quality for the price. Obviously don’t expect a $ 400 leather high end boot. Got two free drinks from two girls at the end of the bar. They loved my boots.
