Aqua Scale 3-in-1 Baby Bath Tub, Scale and Water Thermometer, Blue (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

I would give this a 4 star if it were cheaper. Overall, the design is good to keep small infants at a safe water level. The temperature gauge and weight calibration are not exact, but they are much, much better than guessing. The use and care are easy. The size is a slight drawback unless you have multiple bathrooms or a closet to store it when not in use.I ordered this mainly because my baby boy had colic and reflux, which made weight tracking and comfort management a big issue. Our home scale only went to half pounds (rounding), and when you are tracking ounces of growth for reflux babies over the course of weeks, more accuracy is required. This unit was not actual weight as would be measured at our pediatrician's office, but it was consistently within an ounce or two on the measurement from week to week. We could tell if he had gained or lost, which was the important thing.A slightly more accurate scale or a lower cost would make this a solid 4. Add both of those elements and it's a 5. :)

I personally can not honestly recommend that you purchase this item. For starters the one we received had a cut in the plastic covering the control panel putting it at risk for water damage. I simply placed some tape over the spot hoping that this would get us by. I am sure it will leak and ruin it eventually.I still; however, can not personally recommend this item for these reasons:1. The rubber stopper that holds the water in the tube leaks so we have to have a towel under the bath tub to use it or it has to be in one of our bathroom tubs.2. The temperature readings from the thermometer on the tub jumps around constantly between the range of 95 and 113; so there is never a confident and accurate reading on the temperature of the water in the tub. This is really unfortunate because that is the main reason I bought this item. I can not judge temperature very well and wanted to make sure that anytime I bath my child the water is not too hot. So I have to use alternative means to measure the temperature.3. The scale that is build into this tub also does not read anywhere close to what my child weighs at the doctors office. I expected some difference but not as huge of a difference as this scale presents.Lastly, I noticed that Toys R Us has quite carrying this item as well. Perhaps the items that I have mentioned are the reason why.

This is a good sized tub but i had to exchange it 3 times already since the computer on it did not work so it's not worth paying more for the computer. I would not recommend.Update: I had the computer fixed and it gave out again within 2 days. Also it is definately not made for a newborn. It's terrible for a toddler as well since it will hurt him as it is not soft plastic and middle insert is definately not good for a boy.

This is the third baby bath we bought. After the first two we realized exactly what was missing and what we needed. We Aqua Scale we got everything we wanted and then some. The scale works very well and is extremely accurate. I never used the thermometer since i like to test it on my skin first. The bathtub itself is extremely well designed. The baby is very supported and feels safe. One person can wash even the smallest child by themselves as no additional support is necessary. I bought this as a baby shower present for all my pregnant friends. Highly recommend!

My son lost some weight in his 2nd week of life due to low milk supply. I love that I am able to see his weight any time I want and that during baths we do not have to question if the water is too hot or not, because we know.

After carefully reviewing other bathtubs I came across this one that seemed to be a great deal. Other tubs are often just that... Tubs. This one appealed to me because of the built I scale (which works perfectly btw) and the temp gauge. I have not had my baby yet so I cant say if it is comfortable for him but the design is wonderful an as an added feature there are feet at the bottom so you don't have to worry about drainage issues as with many bathtubs.

Good product

Everything works well but the drain plug does not seal and leaks a good amount during the bath. I had to put rags underneath it to soak up the water at first. Eventually, I had to trim the drain plug tabs down and seal it with silicone sealant. The drain plug is the only bad part of this design.
