MEECO'S RED DEVIL16 oz Grill & Stove High Heat Enamel

Bought awhile back and just got the opportunity to use this weekend. Product and reviews were just as described. Went on without any problems and has my wood stove looking new again!

This is just what I was looking for. I was going to use spray paint to do it and I held off this project for a long time. The paint covers well, dries fast, and if you follow the instructions comes out perfect. I used a brass scraping brush to prep the spots that needed it before painting. As you can see from the photos no brush marks. The top of the stove is a cook top and is treated with olive oil which is why it looks different. I left the iron knobs as is and didn't paint them because they had a nice luster look. Took me a few hours. I have to do the curing process next which is two slow 20 minute burns of stove time and the last one is getting the stove up to about 500 degrees. I'll wait till winter for that one. Amazing paint this stove is looking like the day I bought it. Keep the windows open while you are painting and use a fan to exhaust the air. The paint dries in about ten minutes. I used a nylon brush. Amazon prime comes through again. User reviews are really helpful deciding what to buy. There was more than enough paint to do 2 stoves and associated black pipe.

Used it to paint a home made smoker grill. Good coverage.

Finally had a chance to use it and it performed perfectly. Even did an experiment with coating an exhaust for a VW trike and it worked like a charm. Heated and cured nicely after cranking it up. Did the inside and outside of a Franklin stove with the rest.

Takes a very thin coat for my stove pipe. Let set 24 hrs then cured 8 hrs burning hardwood in the stove. Slight odor when painting as with curing. Looks good and will try on the stove prior to next season. Overall a great product. Small can with lots left over!

Got paint not stove black. Did use it. Product was fine, listing says stove black.

Absolutely fantastic product! Thin enough to get into tight spaces yet thick enough to cover better than any stove product I have ever used and I have tried plenty of them. And it is truly the blackest of every black stove paint made. Couldn’t be any happier with this paint!

I was surprised at how small the can is, but the product works well. That's my fault, as I just looked that the photo and assumed it was a quart and not a pint - I guess because I never see paint in pint sized cans. My bad.I painted a small stove and used about 3/4 of the can. I had already sprayed it with a $10 can of spray stove paint, so I can't speak to the coverage if you only use this paint. I don't believe this can would do 2 coats on a stove, but it covered mine once and will probably cover a larger stove once as well if you're careful not to use too much on your brush.
